Job Title: Biomedical Scientist in Haematology & Blood Transfusion

Banding: Band 6

Location: Essex

Start Date: ASAP

Duration: Ongoing

Working Pattern: Full shift rota (Knowledge of Sysmex XN, Werfen ACL TOP and Grifols Erytra desirable.

Hourly Rate: £25 - £27

We are currently seeking a Band 6 Biomedical Scientist specialising in Blood Transfusion to join our client’s team in Essex. This is a full-time, ongoing position working full shifts, offering a competitive hourly rate and the opportunity to contribute to a busy and well-established laboratory service.

Qualifications and Experience

• HCPC registration

• Degree in Biomedical Science or equivalent

• Experience in Haematology & Blood Transfusion, specifically Knowledge of Sysmex XN, Werfen ACL TOP and Grifols Erytra desirable.

• Familiarity with LIMS and transfusion analysers

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

• NHS experience (required)
