The Japanese-side call targets researchers belonging to Japanese research institutions or universities. The counterpart institution must ensure the official ODA request reaches Japan's Ministry of Foreign Affairs by 13 October 2026 Japan time; local governmental deadlines are normally earlier. Without that ODA request, the research proposal is incomplete.
