Opportunities from University of Auckland — HOPE Foundation Scholarship for Research on Ageing

The HOPE Foundation Scholarship for Research on Ageing supports University of Auckland postgraduate research focused on ageing and older people. The next application round opens 17 September 2026 and closes 29 October 2026. The award is worth up to NZ$6,000 for one year, with the number of awards varying by year. Eligible research can be undertaken through a master's thesis or dissertation or a PhD thesis, and study may be full-time or part-time.

Applicants may be domestic or international students. They must be enrolled or enrolling at the University of Auckland in an eligible master's thesis or dissertation or PhD thesis whose research concerns ageing and older people. Both full-time and part-time study are eligible, subject to the current scholarship regulations and selection process.
