Opportunities from University of Innsbruck Doctoral Scholarship

The University of Innsbruck's third 2026 doctoral-scholarship tranche accepts applications from 24 August through 9 October 2026. The award pays EUR 1,120 per month and may run for up to 24 months, with progress reviewed in six-month periods. The programme is designed as start-up, interim, bridge or final funding for doctoral students. Funding is expected to be awarded in December 2026, with start dates from December 2026 through June 2027.

Regular doctoral students enrolled and registered for continuation at the University of Innsbruck, with a registered dissertation and evidence of excellent academic success or scientific achievements. Employment at the University of Innsbruck is not permitted during the scholarship; outside employment above 15 hours per week is not permitted.
