The position may be filled at assistant, associate or full professor rank depending on academic title. Duties include teaching, assessment, curriculum development, scientific-research planning and funding acquisition, research supervision and doctoral/master's mentoring, with emphasis on Polymer Engineering.

Doctor of Science and a valid University of Ljubljana academic title or equivalent/eligibility for election. Active English and B2 Slovenian are required; a foreign national may obtain the Slovenian requirement within three years after employment. Candidates should demonstrate teaching, research, communication, organisational and teamwork capability.
