About the Role

This is a pivotal commercial role at a seed-stage life-science ingredients company, sitting at the intersection of science and sales. You will be the key link between the technical team and buyers at leading supplement brands and contract manufacturers, turning strong inbound interest into lasting partnerships.

What You'll Do

• Own and develop a pipeline of B2B leads across nutraceutical, pharmaceutical, and food industry customers.

• Lead consultative sales conversations, translating complex ingredient science into clear commercial value for buyers and formulators.

• Build and manage key accounts with supplement brands and contract manufacturers (Lohnhersteller).

• Represent the company at industry trade shows and events to grow your network and generate new opportunities.

• Collaborate closely with the lab and product team to align technical capabilities with customer needs.

• Maintain and develop CRM records to track pipeline progress and customer activity.

What We're Looking For

• Degree in a natural science or technical discipline, such as food technology, nutritional science, pharmacy, biotechnology, chemistry, or a business degree with a life-science focus.

• 2 to 4 years of B2B sales, key account management, or business development experience in the ingredients, nutraceuticals, supplements, or pharmaceutical sector.

• Demonstrated success selling technical or scientific products in a consultative manner.

• Strong existing network within the nutraceutical or ingredient industry, including familiarity with key distributors, events, and prospective customers.

• Experience selling ingredients comparable to those used in nutraceuticals, pharmaceuticals, or biochemistry formulations.

• Fluency in English; German language proficiency is a strong plus.

• Willingness to travel for customer meetings and industry events.

• Startup or scale-up experience is an advantage.

• CRM experience and familiarity with cyclodextrin-based formulation are beneficial.

Compensation & Benefits

Salary range: EUR 60,000 to EUR 80,000 annually. Visa sponsorship is not available for this role.
