You'll review and understand project scope and required services prior to commissioning activities. You'll review protect schemes for incorporation into new designs. You'll be responsible for the Development of Commissioning Plans including Outage and Energization and Development of Commissioning Forms for testing documentation. You'll collaborate closely with contractors, design engineers, operations teams, and clients to support successful project execution. You'll lead multidiscipline teams during commissioning, provide technical guidance and resolve any testing/commissioning/energization issues and deliver all required documentation. Flexible: The work location for this role will include a mix of working remotely, onsite at a client or in an Accenture office or center. With all our roles, there is some in-person time for collaboration, learning and building relationships with clients, peers, leaders and communities. Must have a BS/BA degree in an engineering discipline from an ABET (or Owner approved equivalent) accredited college/university, and 5 years’ experience in the following areas: Construction, maintenance and testing of electrical equipment, Relay protection and control systems, Start-up and commissioning of electrical equipment and systems, Electrical Field engineering, Arc Flash safety training, Troubleshooting of electrical equipment or systems. SCADA and communication systems Specialized advanced training is also required (e.g., PTI. WPI, ECNE PUI, a graduate level engineering degree). Professional experience in commissioning and testing of electrical substations, including supervision of construction, commissioning, and energization activities Professional knowledge of electrical systems, protection & control, and substation equipment Ability to lead and coordinate multidisciplinary teams in the field Professional experience with problem-solving and decision-making under project deadlines Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities Willingness to travel and work on-site across New York State
