The Saksham Technical Degree scheme provides INR 50,000 per year. Support can run for up to four years for students entering the first year or up to three years for eligible second-year lateral entrants. The current National Scholarship Portal student application window closes on 31 October 2026.
Eligibility requirements
Applicants must be admitted to the first year of an AICTE-approved degree programme, or the second year through lateral entry, have a disability of at least 40%, and have annual family income not exceeding INR 800,000, subject to the current scheme rules.
