Manage fund accounting activities: Prepare, maintain, and reconcile accounting records for approximately 10–20 client engagements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable accounting standards. Oversee financial transactions: Reconcile portfolio activity and cash movements against source documentation, record fund expenses promptly, and ensure accurate financial entries. Prepare investor allocations: Calculate and review investor allocations, management fees, and other fund-related expenses to ensure transactions are recorded correctly. Deliver financial reporting: Prepare quarterly net asset value (NAV) reports and ensure all client deliverables are complete, accurate, and submitted within established deadlines. Coordinate treasury operations: Collaborate with the treasury team to initiate client wire transfers and support the accurate processing of fund-related payments. Maintain client relationships: Respond to client inquiries promptly, communicate financial information clearly, and provide consistent, professional service. Improve operational efficiency: Track time accurately, maintain productive work practices, identify process inefficiencies and client-related challenges, and communicate potential improvements to relevant stakeholders. Uphold professional standards: Demonstrate integrity, discretion, and accountability in all interactions with clients, colleagues, and external partners. Requirements Professional experience: At least 3 years of experience in fund accounting, public accounting, or a related financial role, preferably with a focus on closed-end private investment funds. Education: A bachelor's or master's degree in accounting, finance, or a related discipline. Fund accounting expertise: Practical knowledge of fund accounting processes, including reconciliations, expense accruals, investor allocations, NAV reporting, capital calls, distributions, and financial statement preparation. Financial and analytical skills: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with strong attention to detail and the ability to analyze complex financial data accurately. Cryptocurrency knowledge: Practical experience working with cryptocurrency assets and a working understanding of digital asset markets. Communication skills: Excellent written and verbal communication abilities, with a professional approach to client service, teamwork, and stakeholder management. Organization and time management: Ability to manage multiple client engagements, prioritize competing deadlines, maintain accurate records, and deliver high-quality work efficiently. Professional judgment: Strong problem-solving skills, sound judgment, integrity, and the ability to identify and communicate accounting discrepancies or operational risks. Preferred qualifications: CPA, CFA, or MBA credentials are highly desirable but not required. Interest in digital finance: Curiosity about blockchain technology, tokenized assets, and the evolving relationship between traditional investment funds and digital financial infrastructure. Benefits Flexible paid time off: Paid time off designed to support work-life balance and personal well-being. Equity opportunities: Eligibility for equity grants, providing an opportunity to participate in the company's growth. Remote work flexibility: Work remotely while collaborating with a globally distributed and supportive team.
