Complete scholarship details
Chevening’s current scholarship package includes university tuition fees, approved economy travel to and from the UK, arrival and departure allowances, the cost of one visa application, a monthly living allowance and eligible Chevening travel support. No universal stipend amount is stated because rates depend on current award terms and location.
Eligibility requirements
Applicants must meet Chevening’s current citizenship and return-home requirements, hold an undergraduate degree qualifying them for an eligible UK master’s course, have at least 2,800 hours of work experience after completing the undergraduate degree, and apply to three eligible UK master’s courses.
Tips for this scholarship
Practical Job and Scholarship guidance. These tips do not replace official rules or create new eligibility requirements.
- Check eligibility, funding coverage, study/project level and every required document before investing time in the application.
- Prepare transcripts, references, language tests, proposal/motivation statement and proof documents early.
- Separate the scholarship deadline from any university/program admission deadline; they may be different.
- Treat “fully funded” as a source fact only when the official provider explicitly confirms the covered costs.
Verification notes
Verified against Chevening’s Romania country page, which states applications for 2027–2028 are open through 6 October 2026 at 11:00 UTC. Funding and eligibility are limited to current Chevening guidance; no location-dependent stipend amount is invented.
Job and Scholarship is the discovery and verification layer. Confirm eligibility, dates, salary/funding and application instructions on the original source before submitting anything.
