Chevening is the UK Government’s international scholarship programme. The Egypt award is open for the 2027–2028 cycle. Standard Chevening funding includes tuition fees, approved economy travel to and from the country of residence, arrival and departure allowances, the visa application cost, a travel top-up allowance, a contribution toward required TB testing, and a monthly living allowance whose rate depends on study location.
Eligibility requirements
Applicants must satisfy Chevening’s current eligibility rules, including citizenship of a Chevening-eligible country or territory, the applicable ODA-country residence rule, a commitment to return to the country of award for at least two years after the scholarship, at least 2,800 hours of post-undergraduate work experience, a qualifying undergraduate degree completed at least two years before the application deadline, and applications to three eligible UK master’s courses.
