Full job description

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, which manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Creative Project Manager based in the United States. As a Creative Project Manager, you will oversee the planning, coordination, and delivery of creative projects across multiple channels, including print, digital, video, animation, and live events. You will serve as the operational link between account teams, creative professionals, clients, and production partners, ensuring every project moves smoothly from concept to completion. Your role will combine project management, budget oversight, resource planning, and workflow optimization to help multidisciplinary teams deliver exceptional work. You will manage competing priorities, maintain clear timelines, and proactively address challenges while protecting project scope, quality, and profitability. Beyond execution, you will contribute to creative ideation and help transform ambitious concepts into practical, engaging experiences. This fully remote opportunity offers exposure to diverse creative initiatives, with onsite travel required for assigned events. You will have the opportunity to shape processes, strengthen collaboration, and make a meaningful impact within a growing, people-focused creative environment.

Manage project intake, scoping, and kickoff in collaboration with account teams and creative leads, ensuring briefs, deliverables, objectives, and deadlines are clearly defined. Develop and maintain comprehensive project schedules across print, digital, content, video, and animation workstreams, coordinating activities from initial concept through final delivery. Establish and manage internal and client meeting schedules, coordinating with logistics teams and relevant internal contributors to maintain alignment and momentum. Oversee the flow of creative content and assets between account management, designers, writers, video producers, digital teams, clients, and external partners, ensuring effective reviews, approvals, routing, and version control. Maintain accurate project records within the designated project management platform, providing clear visibility into project status, priorities, timelines, resource capacity, and potential risks. Coordinate cross-functional handoffs for estimation, production, fulfillment, and onsite execution to ensure continuity and accountability throughout the project lifecycle. Manage project budgets by preparing estimates with team leads, tracking hours and material costs against scope, processing invoices, and identifying scope changes or budget risks early. Plan and allocate resources in collaboration with creative discipline leads, balancing workloads and ensuring projects have the appropriate time, materials, and expertise. Coordinate print production activities, including vendor schedules, proof reviews, and press checks, ensuring deliverables meet quality standards and deadlines. Connect creative development with live event production by coordinating staging, scenic elements, audiovisual requirements, screen content, signage, and show flow. Attend assigned events onsite to manage creative deliverables, coordinate last-minute changes to scripts and content, and ensure smooth execution of creative requirements. Participate in brainstorming sessions and content development, helping shape program narratives, session concepts, and creative strategies while translating ideas into actionable plans. Develop, document, and continuously improve workflows, templates, and project management systems to increase efficiency, consistency, and scalability. Maintain open, proactive communication with stakeholders, raising concerns early, adapting to changing priorities, and fostering a positive, collaborative working environment. Requirements: At least two years of project management experience, ideally within a creative agency, production environment, or multidisciplinary creative team. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple concurrent projects across print, digital, video, and content development, maintaining control of timelines, deliverables, and dependencies. Experience using Asana or a comparable project management platform, with the discipline to maintain accurate schedules, project statuses, and resource information. Proven ability to build workflows from the ground up, document processes, introduce practical systems, and encourage consistent adoption across teams. Understanding of how creative development connects with onsite production, including familiarity with staging, audiovisual equipment, scenic design, signage, and live event execution. Experience contributing to content development, brainstorming, and creative ideation, with the ability to help shape concepts as well as manage their delivery. Strong budget management skills, including cost estimation, time and material tracking, invoice processing, and monitoring project performance against agreed scope. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships with clients, internal stakeholders, creative teams, and external vendors. Strong organizational and prioritization skills, with the ability to manage shifting deadlines, competing demands, and unexpected changes without compromising quality. Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, and follow-through across project documentation, creative assets, budgets, and production requirements. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat. A proactive, adaptable, and solutions-oriented mindset, with the ability to remain composed and professional under pressure. A collaborative approach that values creative expertise, encourages open communication, and supports shared accountability. Preferred: Experience in the events industry, particularly corporate events, incentive programs, event production, or experiential marketing. Preferred: Working knowledge of print production specifications, processes, and press check terminology. Willingness and ability to travel onsite for assigned events while working remotely for day-to-day project coordination. Benefits: Competitive annual salary: $72,000–$92,000, depending on experience and qualifications. Remote work flexibility: Work remotely from within the United States, with onsite travel required for assigned events. Collaborative culture: Join a people-focused, multidisciplinary team that values creativity, inclusion, accountability, and positive working relationships. Creative variety: Work across print, digital, video, animation, content development, and live event experiences. End-to-end project ownership: Gain exposure to the complete creative delivery process, from initial concept and planning through production and onsite execution. Professional growth: Develop project management, budgeting, production coordination, and creative operations expertise. Process improvement opportunities: Help build and refine workflows, templates, and systems that support team efficiency and organizational growth. Meaningful impact: Contribute directly to the delivery of engaging experiences while helping creative teams turn ideas into successful outcomes.
