Full job description
This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, which manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Deal Sourcing Partner AI, Healthcare & MedTech based in Switzerland. This opportunity is designed for an experienced, well-connected deal originator who can identify high-potential companies in AI, Healthcare, and MedTech seeking financing or strategic investment. As an independent partner, you will leverage your existing professional network to build relationships with founders, executives, investors, and other key decision-makers. Your primary focus will be uncovering qualified opportunities with financing or investment requirements of €2 million or more. You will assess potential mandates, facilitate warm introductions, and help develop opportunities in fundraising, capital raising, mergers and acquisitions, and strategic advisory. Working closely with an advisory and capital-raising team, you will contribute to a targeted deal pipeline and help turn promising relationships into successful mandates. This flexible, performance-oriented collaboration offers the opportunity to build a long-term sector partnership while working independently and drawing on your industry expertise.
Identify promising companies in AI, Healthcare, MedTech, HealthTech, Life Sciences, Biotech, Diagnostics, and Medical Devices with financing needs or strategic capital requirements. Leverage an established professional network to generate qualified deal opportunities and identify businesses preparing for fundraising, expansion, growth, or strategic transactions. Establish warm introductions to founders, CEOs, CFOs, investors, and other senior decision-makers who may be relevant to potential mandates. Conduct initial qualification of opportunities, assessing financing requirements, company stage, investment potential, and suitability for advisory engagement. Identify potential mandates across fundraising, capital raising, mergers and acquisitions (M&A), and strategic advisory services, prioritizing opportunities involving €2 million or more in financing or investment. Build, maintain, and develop a high-quality pipeline of opportunities across the Healthcare and MedTech sectors. Collaborate with the internal team to evaluate potential deals, refine opportunities, and determine their suitability for advisory or capital-raising mandates. Where appropriate, support promising opportunities through the process of securing a formal mandate. Maintain strong relationships with sector stakeholders to generate recurring opportunities and support the development of a long-term strategic partnership. Requirements At least 5 years of relevant experience in deal sourcing, equity sales, business development, fundraising, M&A, investment, corporate finance, or advisory, with a specific focus on Healthcare, MedTech, HealthTech, Life Sciences, Biotech, Diagnostics, or Medical Devices. An established, active, and verifiable network within the relevant sectors, with direct access to founders, CEOs, executives, investors, or other influential decision-makers. This is the central requirement for the role. A demonstrable track record of originating, supporting, or executing transactions, mandates, or capital raises, supported by an anonymized deal sheet or transaction overview. Strong understanding of investment processes, financing structures, and the development of advisory or capital-raising opportunities. Proven ability to identify, access, and qualify high-value business opportunities, ideally involving financing or investment requirements of €2 million or more. Excellent communication, networking, and relationship-building skills, with the ability to establish credibility and facilitate meaningful introductions. An entrepreneurial, independent, proactive, and results-oriented mindset suited to a freelance collaboration. The ability to work autonomously while collaborating effectively with an advisory team to develop qualified opportunities and secure mandates. Benefits Flexible, independent collaboration under a freelance or independent contractor arrangement. Performance-based compensation, with attractive participation in successfully acquired mandates. Specific rates and amounts are not disclosed. A relationship-driven approach focused on existing networks and warm introductions rather than traditional cold calling. Access to established advisory and capital-raising capabilities to help develop and progress qualified opportunities. The opportunity to build a long-term strategic partnership within the Healthcare and MedTech sectors. Opportunities to expand your professional network across capital raising, investment, and strategic advisory. Potential to develop into a long-term Healthcare and MedTech Sector Partner. Remote collaboration with worldwide location flexibility; the role is listed as based in Slovenia. No fixed salary or additional benefits are specified.
