Development Marketing Coordinator

Full Job Description

Supports the planning and execution of direct mail and digital fundraising campaigns, including donor communications and promotions for the Boys Ranch Rodeo and other Development events. Creates graphics and prepares images and other digital assets in the formats required for print, email, and event materials. Tracks campaign results; codes and processes vendor invoices; assists with check requests and cost analysis; and manages state charitable solicitation registrations. Provides backup support to Mail Shop and Gift Processing during peak periods and as needed.

Essential Duties:

• Maintains regular, reliable attendance and consistently meets work schedules.
• Supports the planning, production, and execution of direct mail fundraising campaigns, coordinating with staff and vendors to meet deadlines.
• Creates and prepares graphic, photo, and digital assets for fundraising, email, event, and promotional materials.
• Processes invoices, purchasing requests, and campaign expenses while tracking development-related costs.
• Monitors campaign performance and assists with reporting, analysis, and cost evaluation.
• Maintains campaign records, historical files, production documentation, and inventories of development materials.
• Assists with digital fundraising efforts, including email campaigns, online appeals, donation forms, and event communications.
• Reviews campaign content, donor lists, forms, and links to ensure accuracy before distribution.
• Manages charitable solicitation registrations, monitors filing deadlines, and maintains compliance records.
• Supports donor services by updating records, researching gifts and returned mail, resolving donor inquiries, prioritizing multiple deadlines, and providing backup support for Mail Shop and Gift Processing operations as needed.

Requirements

1. An Associate's degree in business, marketing, communications, or a related field is required. An equivalent combination of education and relevant experience will be considered.

2. A minimum of two years of experience in administrative support, development, direct marketing, or digital communications is preferred.

3. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and mail merge, is required.

4. Experience using graphic design tools, such as Canva or comparable software, to create and adapt graphics and prepare image files for print and digital use is required.

5. Ability to learn and use email marketing, online giving, and donor database systems is required. Prior experience with these systems is preferred.

6. Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills, including correct grammar, spelling, and punctuation, are required.

7. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple deadlines are required.

8. Ability to communicate professionally with donors, vendors, and staff is required.

9. Must be at least 21 years of age.

10. Must possess a valid Texas driver’s license.

11. Must be available for travel as needed.
