Full job description

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Digital Content Marketing Manager based in the United States. The Digital Content Marketing Manager will lead enterprise-wide digital content strategy, driving discoverability, engagement, and conversion across brand websites, retailer platforms, and emerging AI-powered search experiences. This role combines strategic leadership with hands-on execution across SEO, Answer Engine Optimization (AEO), AI Visibility, and digital shelf optimization. You will establish content standards, oversee agency and technology partnerships, and transform performance data into actionable recommendations. Working cross-functionally with brand, ecommerce, technology, regulatory, and legal teams, you will ensure digital content is accurate, consistent, and optimized for business impact. You will also guide content launches, ratings and reviews initiatives, and evolving search strategies. This opportunity is ideal for a seasoned digital marketing professional who thrives at the intersection of content, analytics, ecommerce, and innovation.

Develop and execute the enterprise digital content strategy across brand websites, retailer platforms, digital shelf environments, and AI-powered search experiences. Lead SEO, AEO, and AI Visibility strategy and execution, including management of relevant platforms, optimization roadmaps, agency direction, and performance reporting. Manage relationships with external agencies and technology partners supporting SEO, digital shelf analytics, ratings and reviews, content syndication, and digital content optimization. Establish and maintain digital content standards covering product descriptions, SEO/AEO copywriting, enhanced content, brand shop content, imagery, and metadata. Oversee the creation and optimization of new product content, enhanced content strategies, and retailer-specific assets to improve search visibility, engagement, and conversion. Manage website content workflows and optimization priorities, collaborating with brand teams to implement content, structural, and technical recommendations. Develop and maintain project plans and timelines for content launches, ensuring approvals, dependencies, and retailer requirements are addressed. Define digital content and AI Visibility KPIs, analyze performance using platforms such as Profound and Profitero, and present actionable recommendations and executive-level reports. Lead digital shelf optimization initiatives using analytics to improve search rankings, content completeness, enhanced content coverage, image quality, and conversion performance. Monitor emerging trends in digital content, retail platforms, SEO, AEO, and AI-powered search, translating opportunities into scalable standards and action plans. Provide strategic direction and support to the DAM/PIM Specialist responsible for content operations, syndication, digital asset management, product information governance, and existing-content updates. Lead ratings and reviews strategy across brands, working with internal teams and platform providers to increase review volume, improve content quality, monitor consumer sentiment, and use feedback to strengthen discoverability, conversion, and brand performance. Ensure compliance with applicable company policies, procedures, and operational requirements, including equal employment opportunity, harassment prevention, safety, and financial controls. Perform other duties related to the role as required by management. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Communications, Business, Ecommerce, or a related field, or equivalent relevant professional experience. Seven to ten years of experience in digital marketing, ecommerce, content strategy, SEO, digital shelf optimization, website optimization, or a related discipline. Consumer packaged goods (CPG) experience is strongly preferred. Demonstrated ability to establish digital strategies, define KPIs, analyze performance data, and translate insights into actionable business recommendations. Experience managing agency and vendor relationships and influencing cross-functional stakeholders without direct reporting authority. Strong understanding of SEO fundamentals, content optimization, structured data, website content strategy, and digital analytics. Experience with AEO, Generative Engine Optimization (GEO), or AI Visibility strategies is preferred. Familiarity with digital shelf analytics, ratings and reviews, content syndication, or related platforms is an advantage. Experience with tools such as Profound, Profitero, Bazaarvoice, or Syndigo is a plus. Strong project management, communication, prioritization, and executive presentation skills. Excellent analytical abilities and the capacity to manage multiple initiatives, coordinate stakeholders, and deliver projects on schedule. An advanced degree or relevant certification in SEO, analytics, or project management is beneficial. Benefits: Annual salary range of $95,000–$100,000 . Comprehensive health and medical benefits. 401(k) retirement savings plan. Paid vacation and holidays. Paid parental leave. Professional development opportunities and leadership training. Remote work designation, with the listed position based in the United States. Access to a total rewards package, with benefits potentially varying by work location.
