Full job description

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Director, Enterprise Managed Services Sales based in Canada. This is a senior enterprise sales opportunity focused on transforming how large organizations build, manage, and operate media infrastructure. You will target Fortune 1000 organizations with in-house studios, production teams, internal networks, and live event operations. The role combines consultative selling with deep media operations expertise, requiring you to diagnose operational challenges before shaping the right solution. You will engage senior communications, marketing, technology, procurement, and finance stakeholders and build relationships across complex buying groups. Success means creating recurring, multi-year managed services relationships while expanding existing accounts from individual projects into ongoing operations. Working closely with engineering and operations teams, you will help design scalable solutions spanning production, cloud, remote workflows, staffing, facilities, and 24/7 operations. The position offers significant autonomy, executive visibility, uncapped commission, and the opportunity to influence the growth of an enterprise-focused media services business.

Build and manage a new-logo pipeline of Fortune 1000 enterprises with in-house media, studio, or live event operations, prioritizing multi-year managed services agreements over one-time projects. Engage the full enterprise buying group, including communications and marketing executives, media production leaders, IT and network stakeholders, procurement, and finance. Conduct operational assessments covering staffing, facilities, production workflows, uptime risks, and costs, then translate findings into tailored managed services solutions. Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to package end-to-end offerings covering consulting, facility design and build, embedded staffing, cloud and remote production, and 24/7 network operations. Own proposals and RFP responses, including solution scope, staffing models, service-level agreements, and commercial structures. Identify opportunities to expand existing enterprise accounts from individual events or projects into recurring managed operations. Represent the organization at industry events and executive forums while bringing market intelligence back to inform sales positioning and service development. Maintain an accurate sales forecast in HubSpot, including pipeline stages, expected close dates, opportunities, and next steps. Requirements: 10+ years of experience in media production and operations within enterprise environments or live broadcast news. 5+ years of experience leading media production or media operations at Director level or above. Proven experience managing large production teams, vendors, budgets, and multi-site facilities, including purchasing and managing comparable services. Strong knowledge of broadcast and digital media environments, including live production, studio operations, content workflows, cloud and remote production, and distribution across television, streaming, and social platforms. Demonstrated success transforming production workflows or operating models with measurable improvements in cost, speed, efficiency, or reliability. Strong executive presence and experience engaging C-suite communications, marketing, and technology leaders. An established professional network across enterprise media and broadcast. A consultative sales mindset, with the ability to diagnose operational challenges and translate technical architectures into clear business outcomes. Proven ability to carry a sales quota, develop pipeline from target account lists, and drive complex enterprise sales cycles. Experience in telecommunications, financial services, or other enterprise environments operating internal networks, brand studios, or executive communications at scale is a plus. Previous sales, business development, or client-facing agency experience is desirable. Background in creative content strategy and corporate communications alongside technical operations is an advantage. Familiarity with managed services commercial models, including SLAs, staffing-as-a-service, and multi-year MSAs, is preferred. Existing relationships within enterprise media communities in major U.S. markets are a plus. Benefits: Base salary plus uncapped commission. Full-time employment. Remote work option, with Washington, DC identified as a primary location. Approximately 30–40% travel to client sites, facilities, and industry events. Senior-level opportunity with significant enterprise sales ownership and executive exposure. Opportunity to work across managed services, media infrastructure, cloud production, remote workflows, and 24/7 operations. Exposure to large-scale enterprise clients across technology, telecommunications, financial services, consumer brands, and other industries. Opportunity to build long-term recurring revenue relationships and influence strategic service offerings.
