Amazon MGM Studios (AMS) Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team is looking for a Financial Analyst to support the business and finance teams, with a focus on supporting the financial planning efforts of P&L consolidation. This role will focus on both core financial planning cycles, including Month-End Close, Quarterly Guidance forecasts and Annual Operating Plans, as well as ongoing controllership.

They must be able to think and act both strategically and tactically and manage multiple competing priorities effectively.

• Support month end, quarterly, annual operating financial planning working cross functionally with various teams, including Prime Video finance, accounting, and business operations • Ensure data is accurately reflected in financial planning systems, including Essbase and Cognos • Drive process automation to streamline current processes and enhance financial controllership • Ad hoc project support on company-wide strategic initiatives • Analyze complex financial data and provide accurate and timely reports to key stakeholders, highlighting key insights and recommendations • Support the month-end close process and ensure accurate and timely financial reporting • Assist in developing and implementing financial policies, procedures, and internal controls

Basic Qualifications

  • 2+ years of finance experience
  • 2+ years of applying key financial performance indicators (KPIs) to analyses experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics or a highly analytical field (e.g., Engineering, Math, and Computer Science)
  • Knowledge of standard software including Excel, Access, Oracle, Essbase, SQL and VBA skills
  • Experience using data to influence business decisions
  • Experience in corporate finance including budgeting/planning, forecasting and reporting

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in TM1, Data Warehouse and SQL
  • Experience in accounting management in Big Four with Fortune 500 clients, or experience in finance roles

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
