Full job description

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a (FR&EN) - Bilingual Project Manager based in Canada. As a Bilingual Project Manager, you will lead client-facing technology projects focused on integrating human resources information systems (HRIS), payroll platforms, and business applications. You will oversee the entire project lifecycle, from initial discovery and requirements gathering to implementation, go-live, and post-launch stabilization. Working closely with French- and English-speaking clients, technical consultants, and cross-functional stakeholders, you will ensure seamless collaboration and successful project delivery. You will translate complex business needs into clear technical documentation while managing timelines, budgets, risks, and dependencies. This role offers the opportunity to work with modern integration technologies and help organizations improve data accuracy, streamline workflows, and reduce manual processes. If you enjoy solving problems, building strong client relationships, and managing multiple projects in a flexible, fully remote environment, this opportunity offers an excellent platform for professional growth.

Lead client-facing HRIS and payroll integration projects from kickoff through discovery, implementation, go-live, and post-launch stabilization. Facilitate discovery workshops with stakeholders across Human Resources, Payroll, Finance, and IT to define project scope, business requirements, timelines, deliverables, and success criteria. Translate business and operational requirements into clear, structured project documentation, including data mappings, integration flow diagrams, and technical specifications. Coordinate internal technical consultants and external stakeholders to maintain alignment, establish accountability, and ensure the timely execution of project activities. Manage project plans, schedules, risks, dependencies, and scope changes across multiple concurrent engagements, anticipating potential impacts on payroll processing, compliance, and financial reporting. Monitor project progress and overall health, communicate status updates proactively, and facilitate timely decision-making when priorities or project requirements change. Support post-implementation testing and validation to confirm that integrations operate correctly and meet business expectations in live environments. Identify opportunities to expand, improve, or optimize existing integrations and prepare change requests when additional work is required. Maintain strong client relationships through clear communication, effective expectation management, and a proactive approach to resolving issues. Ensure project documentation, decisions, and action items are accurately recorded and accessible to relevant stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle. Requirements: At least three years of project management experience delivering technology projects in a client-facing environment, such as SaaS implementations, system integrations, or comparable technical initiatives. Professional fluency in both French and English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills in both languages. Experience working with Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS), payroll platforms, or projects involving employee and payroll data as essential inputs or outputs. Demonstrated ability to manage the full project lifecycle, from kickoff and requirements discovery through delivery, go-live, and stabilization. Strong requirements-gathering and facilitation skills, including leading workshops, documenting stakeholder decisions, and translating business needs into actionable project deliverables. Solid project management fundamentals, including scope definition, timeline management, risk assessment, dependency tracking, stakeholder coordination, and change control. Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage several projects simultaneously, prioritize competing demands, and follow through on commitments. A high degree of autonomy, accountability, and initiative, with the ability to work effectively in a fully remote environment. Strong interpersonal skills and a client-focused mindset, with the ability to build trust, manage expectations, and collaborate across technical and business teams. Nice to have: Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or an equivalent qualification. Nice to have: Experience delivering system-to-system integrations using APIs, SFTP, ETL processes, data transformations, middleware, or integration platform as a service (iPaaS) solutions. Nice to have: Familiarity with HR and payroll platforms such as Workday, Oracle HCM, ADP, UKG, Ceridian Dayforce, BambooHR, or similar systems. Nice to have: Understanding of payroll processing schedules, data quality requirements, downstream financial reporting, cost centers, and general ledger (GL) mapping. Nice to have: Experience supporting multi-entity or multi-country implementations, as well as knowledge of additional languages. Benefits: Competitive base salary aligned with experience and qualifications. Fully remote work arrangement with the flexibility to work from home. Flexible working hours to support autonomy and work-life balance. Four weeks of paid vacation annually to rest and recharge. Comprehensive health benefits covering you and your family. Professional development opportunities within a learning-oriented culture that encourages continuous improvement and career progression. Exposure to cutting-edge technologies and modern HR data integration solutions. Collaborative team environment with opportunities to connect with colleagues through team events and shared initiatives. Meaningful client impact through projects that improve data accuracy, automate processes, and streamline HR and payroll operations.
