The award is designed for a January 2028 start. Estimated support includes USD 1,850 per month plus USD 3,550 in one-time allowances, consisting of USD 2,050 for travel, transit, excess baggage and settling in plus a USD 1,500 research allowance. International travel, health benefits and eligible dependent support are also provided.
Eligibility requirements
U.S. citizenship and Fulbright U.S. Student eligibility apply. Bachelor's, master's and doctoral applicants are accepted. Intermediate Spanish is required and a Foreign Language Evaluation is required. An affiliation letter is required at the application deadline. Projects in governance, economic development and citizen security are among areas of preference, though all fields are eligible.
