Our partner is looking for a Senior Commercial Manager (Gerente Comercial Sr) based in Curitiba, Brazil. We are seeking a results-driven commercial professional with a strong hunter mindset and a passion for winning new business in the corporate insurance and risk management market. In this role, you will focus exclusively on acquiring new clients, identifying strategic opportunities, and building relationships with corporate organizations. You will play a key role in expanding the business portfolio by understanding client needs and connecting them with relevant insurance and risk solutions. This opportunity is ideal for a proactive, commercially minded professional who thrives on prospecting, negotiation, and business development. Acquire new corporate clients: Focus exclusively on winning new customers and expanding the organization's client portfolio within the corporate insurance and risk management sector. Identify new business opportunities: Research target markets, identify prospective corporate accounts, and develop a strong pipeline of qualified leads. Drive prospecting activities: Proactively approach potential clients, initiate commercial conversations, and maintain consistent business development efforts to generate new opportunities. Build strategic relationships: Establish and develop relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders at prospective corporate clients to understand their business challenges and risk management needs. Manage the commercial sales cycle: Lead new-business opportunities from prospecting and initial engagement through negotiations and closing, maintaining a strong focus on conversion and commercial results. Develop tailored commercial proposals: Understand prospective clients' requirements and coordinate appropriate insurance and risk solutions that address their needs. Contribute to business growth: Support the expansion of the corporate portfolio by prioritizing high-potential opportunities and pursuing sustainable new-client acquisition. Collaborate with internal teams: Work with relevant colleagues to coordinate proposals, align client expectations, and support a professional experience throughout the sales process. Represent the organization professionally: Build credibility in the market through consultative selling, effective communication, and a customer-focused approach. Requirements: Higher education: Completed bachelor's degree or equivalent higher education qualification. New-business development expertise: A strong hunter profile, with a demonstrated focus on prospecting, acquiring new clients, and generating commercial opportunities. Commercial and sales capabilities: Strong prospecting, negotiation, presentation, relationship-building, and closing skills. Corporate market orientation: Interest in or experience serving corporate clients, particularly in insurance, risk management, or related business services. Results-driven mindset: Ability to work toward commercial objectives, prioritize opportunities, maintain an active sales pipeline, and take ownership of new-business acquisition. Communication and interpersonal skills: Confidence engaging with corporate decision-makers, understanding client needs, and presenting solutions persuasively. Proactivity and autonomy: A self-motivated approach to identifying opportunities, overcoming sales challenges, and developing new client relationships. Preferred experience: Previous commercial experience in an insurance brokerage or insurance company, particularly in new-business development, will be considered an advantage.
