Eligibility requirements
Master's and doctoral applicants must be students at a university in one of the listed South-Eastern European countries and remain registered there in the next academic year. Postdoctoral applicants must hold an academic position at a university in the eligible region, have completed a doctorate with very good results before the scholarship begins, and normally have completed the doctorate no more than three years before application. The planned postdoctoral research project should be agreed with a potential University of Graz supervisor, and a postdoctoral stay cannot be funded if the doctorate was completed at the University of Graz.
