Students enrolled at eligible institutions in Aruba, Bonaire, Curaçao, the Netherlands or Sint Maarten can apply for a Kingdom Scholarship for a recognised 21-day to 6-month study exchange or internship in another part of the Kingdom.
Complete scholarship details
The current application window covers study exchanges or internships starting between 15 January and 31 July 2027. Awards are allocated by lottery among complete eligible applications. Maximum support depends on the route: Caribbean parts to European Netherlands can receive up to €800 one-time travel support plus €850 per month, capped at €5,900; European Netherlands to the Caribbean parts can receive up to €800 travel plus €650 per month, capped at €4,700; eligible exchanges within the Caribbean parts can receive €300 travel, or €500 where there is no direct flight, plus €650 per month, capped at €4,200–€4,400.
Eligibility requirements
Applicants must be studying at an eligible education institution in Aruba, Bonaire, Curaçao, the Netherlands or Sint Maarten at sbo/mbo level 3 or 4, hbo or university level, and the proposed 21-day to 6-month mobility must be a study exchange or internship in another part of the Kingdom as part of a recognised programme.
