Learning & Development Partner - UK&I At IVC , we are a leading veterinary services provider in Europe and North America with more than 2,500 clinics and hospitals across 19 countries and around 41,000 employees. Reporting into the Head of Leadership and Early Careers, the Learning and Development Partner scopes, designs and delivers learning and development programmes across the business. These programmes support colleagues in all roles and at every level. Programmes are designed and delivered in multiple formats, from face-to-face workshops to digital and blended learning. All content is grounded in our leadership behaviours and values. A key focus is building content that enables managers and leaders to hold effective performance, talent and career conversations. The role partners closely with stakeholders across the business, balances competing priorities, and measures the business impact of every programme. Key Accountabilities/Responsibilities: Scoping & Learning Needs Analysis

• Partner with stakeholders to understand business priorities and capability gaps
• Carry out learning needs analysis to define clear objectives and outcomes
• Scope programmes that meet business needs and are deliverable at pace
• Recommend the right solution for the need, including where learning is not the answer Programme Design
• Design learning programmes for all roles and levels across the business
• Apply adult learning principles and instructional design best practice
• Design for multiple formats, including workshops, virtual sessions, digital modules, toolkits and blended pathways
• Ensure all content is anchored in our leadership behaviours and values
• Build practical content that equips managers and leaders for effective performance, talent and career discussions Delivery & Facilitation
• Facilitate learning sessions confidently across a range of audiences and formats
• Build and support a network of internal facilitators and subject matter experts
• Manage external providers where specialist input is required
• Ensure a consistent, high-quality learning experience at every touchpoint Stakeholder Partnering
• Act as a trusted adviser to leaders on learning and capability
• Build strong relationships across clinical and non-clinical functions
• Manage multiple priorities and competing demands, agreeing realistic timelines
• Influence and challenge constructively to keep programmes focused on business outcomes Impact & Evaluation
• Define success measures for each programme at the point of design
• Evaluate learning effectiveness using data, feedback and behaviour change
• Measure the business impact of learning programmes, reporting insights to the Head of Leadership and Early Careers and programme sponsors
• Use insight to continuously improve content, format and delivery Continuous Improvement
• Keep up to date with external best practice and market insight, ensuring our programmes remain market leading
• Look for opportunities to simplify, scale and digitise learning solutions, including through AI
• Contribute to a consistent learning approach across the wider Talent and Learning team Experience/Qualifications: Essential
• Experience scoping, designing and delivering learning programmes
• Strong facilitation skills across multiple formats and audiences
• Understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design
• Experience designing leadership, management or talent content
• Confident partnering and influencing senior stakeholders4
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver at pace
• Strong analytical skills, with experience measuring learning impact
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills Desirable
• CIPD qualification or equivalent
• Coaching qualification or accreditation
• Experience with digital learning tools and platforms
• Experience in a multi-site or healthcare environment
