OIST's Quantum and Ultrafast Optoelectronics Unit is recruiting two postdoctoral scholars in quantum materials, ultrafast and terahertz spectroscopy, nanofabrication and related device research.

The roles support independent and collaborative research on THz spectroscopy of 2D quantum matter and/or designer quantum materials and devices. The appointment is full-time and fixed term for two years, with possible renewal. The earliest start is after 1 January 2027.

PhD in physics, chemistry or a closely related field; strong relevant research background, research achievement, English communication skills, and ability to work independently and collaboratively.
