  • Design and deliver systems and automation that scale Prime Video's Live OTT delivery and 24/7 linear operations
  • Own the operational health of device automation and monitoring systems — identify resilience risks and deliver solutions that eliminate them
  • Improve monitoring capabilities and system reliability, reducing manual operational load across the team

Mid-morning shifts to development: enhancing automation scripts, improving device monitoring workflows, and testing changes in staging environments to reduce manual intervention during live events.

Afternoons bring cross-team collaboration—troubleshooting priority tickets with encoding and operations engineers, deploying fixes before high-profile events go live, and designing monitoring solutions that scale with Prime Video's growing live sports portfolio.

About the team The Playback Ops Systems Group build and maintain reliable, high performance customer experience monitoring tooling and infrastructure. If you crave a sense of ownership, this is the place to be.
