Plumbing Service Technician - Woburn, MA

Central Heating & Cooling is seeking an experienced Residential Service Plumber to join our growing team. This individual will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, maintaining, and replacing residential plumbing systems while delivering an exceptional customer experience. What You’ll Do Perform comprehensive residential plumbing inspections and identify repair, replacement, and upgrade opportunities based on your findings. Diagnose and repair a variety of residential plumbing issues, including clogged drains, faucets, fixtures, drainage lines, and water supply lines. Perform drain cleaning and locate and repair leaks or other issues within residential water distribution systems. Install, maintain, repair, and replace water supply, waste disposal, sanitary, and DWV systems. Cut, assemble, and install pipes and tubing while working carefully around existing electrical, mechanical, and structural systems. Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and plumbing layouts to properly plan and complete installations and repairs. Repair and maintain residential plumbing fixtures and appliances, including sinks, washing machines, and other connected equipment. Recommend appropriate repair and upgrade options based on inspection findings while providing customers with clear, professional guidance. Use plumbing tools and equipment safely and effectively, including pipe wrenches, pipe cutters, drain snakes, and other service equipment. Maintain a clean, professional work environment and deliver a positive customer experience on every call. What We’re Looking For Residential service plumbing and drain cleaning experience required. Valid Massachusetts Plumber License required. Solid understanding of residential water distribution, drainage, waste, and disposal systems. Working knowledge of residential heating, ventilation, and plumbing-related appliances. Ability to confidently use common plumbing tools and equipment, including pipe wrenches, pipe cutters, snakes, and related service tools. ServiceTitan experience is a plus. Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify the cause of plumbing issues and determine the appropriate solution. Good communication and interpersonal skills with a friendly, patient, and customer-focused approach. Ability to explain findings and repair or upgrade recommendations clearly to homeowners. Good physical condition and strength, with the ability to work in crawl spaces, tight areas, and other awkward positions. Ability to work independently, manage service calls efficiently, and take pride in delivering quality workmanship.
