YOUR ROLE You shape how fonio feels to use for thousands of businesses. You own core areas of our product end-to-end: from talking to customers, to designing the flow, to shipping it with our engineers. You're a hands-on designer with high craft and a lot of autonomy. You don't wait for perfect specs. You find the problem, design the solution and move fast. WHAT TO EXPECT

• Own the design of core product areas end-to-end, in close collaboration with Product Engineering and our founders
• Talk to customers regularly and turn insights into design decisions
• Turn complex functionality into simple and easy to use experiences
• Shape and scale our product design system
• Prototype fast with AI tools (Cursor, v0, Claude and others) to get from idea to testable flow in hours, not weeks
• Use analytics to measure what works, and iterate WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR
• Several years of experience as a product designer, ideally in a small, fast-moving product team (portfolio required)
• Exceptional design craft: interaction detail, hierarchy, typography and motion
• High autonomy: you take ownership without needing much structure
• Experience with design systems and shipping features end-to-end
• Product and analytics thinking: you don't design from your gut, you measure
• AI-first mindset
• Fluent English (any additional language is a plus, especially German (DACH is our most important market) WHAT WE OFFER
