Full job description

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, which manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Product Manager, Corporate Actions based in Germany. As a Product Manager, Corporate Actions, you will own the end-to-end product lifecycle for critical post-trade operations within a rapidly growing financial infrastructure environment. You will oversee the systems, data quality, vendor relationships, and workflows that ensure corporate actions are processed accurately, efficiently, and on time. Working at the intersection of product, engineering, operations, and compliance, you will turn complex financial requirements into scalable, reliable solutions. Your work will support the expansion into new asset classes, international markets, and institutional partnerships. You will also help automate operational processes while maintaining the accuracy and controls required in a regulated financial services environment. This role offers the opportunity to shape essential brokerage infrastructure and progressively expand your impact across clearing, reconciliation, and financial data integrity within a globally distributed team.

Own the Corporate Actions Product Lifecycle: Define and execute the product roadmap for announcement capture, entitlement calculations, mandatory and voluntary corporate actions, payouts, and exception handling. Establish clear timelines, acceptance criteria, and quality controls to ensure accurate and timely processing at scale. Manage Vendors and Data Quality: Oversee relationships with corporate action data providers, improve announcement validation workflows, and establish reliable data quality standards to support safe and effective automation. Drive Operational Automation: Design and implement phased automation for mandatory corporate actions and pre-reconciliation processes, balancing efficiency with accuracy, risk management, and regulatory requirements. Improve Operations and Observability: Develop entitlement worksheets, dashboards, and monitoring tools to track processing times, workloads, progress, and credited amounts. Enable partial processing so that unaffected accounts or partners can continue to be processed when exceptions arise. Support International Expansion: Coordinate corporate actions readiness for new international markets, ensuring systems, workflows, and operational processes can accommodate additional markets, event types, and institutional partners. Strengthen Upstream Data Governance: Collaborate with engineering teams to maintain consistency across security master data, brokerage systems, ledgers, and other critical financial records. Coordinate Cross-Functional Delivery: Work closely with engineering, operations, compliance, tax, finance, and legal teams to translate business and regulatory needs into clear product requirements and deliver solutions against operational deadlines. Contribute to Broader Post-Trade Infrastructure: As the role evolves, take on additional ownership across clearing and post-trade systems, including security master management, ledger integrity, multi-market readiness, and the alignment of brokerage, custody, and accounting records. Requirements: Corporate Actions Expertise: Strong practical knowledge of brokerage corporate action processing, including announcement sources, record dates, ex-dates, payment dates, entitlement calculations, and mandatory versus voluntary events. Experience managing high-volume corporate action periods within a broker-dealer, clearing firm, custody provider, or post-trade platform is essential. Product Management Experience: Proven experience in product management or technical program management within fintech, brokerage, or financial infrastructure. Ability to develop product roadmaps, prioritize backlogs, define requirements, and deliver reliable solutions under strict operational deadlines. Clearing and Post-Trade Knowledge: Sufficient understanding of clearing operations, stock records, settlements, ledgers, and books and records to make informed product decisions and evaluate downstream operational impacts. Cross-Functional Leadership: Excellent collaboration and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to coordinate engineering, operations, compliance, tax, finance, and legal teams. Able to translate complex business requirements into actionable technical specifications and communicate prioritization decisions clearly. Technical Fluency: Comfortable working with financial data systems, vendor feeds, reconciliation workflows, data quality controls, and monitoring tools. Able to collaborate closely with engineers on system reliability, automation, and data integrity. Risk-Based Decision-Making: Strong judgment when balancing operational risk, regulatory obligations, technical feasibility, efficiency, timelines, and budget within a regulated, self-clearing brokerage environment. Tax and Security Master Knowledge: Familiarity with corporate action implications for tax reporting, including cost basis, wash sales, tax reporting event mapping, and security master tax attributes, is an advantage. Partner and Correspondent Experience: Experience with B2B2C financial services, correspondent brokerage, broker-as-a-service models, or partner sandbox and testing requirements is a plus. AI-Enabled Product Practices: Regular use of AI-powered tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Cursor, or custom agents for product requirements drafting, incident analysis, data exploration, and rapid prototyping is desirable. Ownership and Adaptability: A proactive, detail-oriented approach, with the ability to navigate complex operational challenges, make sound decisions, and take responsibility for outcomes in a fast-paced, globally distributed environment. Benefits: Competitive compensation: A competitive salary package aligned with experience and qualifications. Equity participation: Stock options offering the opportunity to share in the long-term growth of the business. Health benefits: Access to healthcare benefits to support your well-being. Home office allowance: A one-time USD $500 stipend to help establish your remote workspace. Monthly stipend: USD $150 per month provided through a Brex card to support eligible work-related expenses. Remote-first flexibility: Work from your preferred location within the role's eligible geographic and employment arrangements. International collaboration: Join a globally distributed team of experienced professionals working across financial services, engineering, and technology. Professional development: Contribute to complex financial infrastructure projects while expanding your expertise in product management, corporate actions, clearing, and post-trade operations.
