RAMP 2026 is a two-stage transnational call. Romania participates through UEFISCDI with €1,000,000 allocated nationally. The first-stage pre-proposal deadline is 22 September 2026 at 15:00 CEST; invited consortia proceed to a full proposal due 15 February 2027 at 15:00 CET. Funding is awarded by each national/regional funder under its own rules, so the €1 million figure is Romania’s total call allocation, not an individual project award.
Eligibility requirements
Proposals must come from transnational consortia with at least three funded partners from three participating countries, with at least two partners from EU Member States or associated countries. Eligible partner types may include universities, research organisations, companies, consultancies, public bodies, NGOs, associations and foundations, provided each partner meets its national/regional funder rules. Romanian applicants must satisfy UEFISCDI’s national rules.
