Full job description
This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, which manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Sales Development Team Lead based in the United States. We are seeking a hands-on Sales Development Team Lead to support a growing sales development organization across North American and global markets. In this role, you will provide day-to-day coaching, operational guidance, and performance support to Sales Development Representatives (SDRs), helping them strengthen their prospecting skills and achieve their targets. You will work closely with sales leadership to reinforce established processes, improve execution, and identify opportunities for individual and team development. From coaching cold calls and refining qualification techniques to supporting onboarding and maintaining CRM excellence, you will play a key role in building a consistent, high-performing sales team. This opportunity is ideal for a results-driven sales professional who enjoys mentoring others, solving problems in real time, and thriving in a fast-paced, metrics-focused SaaS environment.
Sales Coaching and Development: Conduct regular live call shadowing sessions and coach SDRs on cold calling, discovery, objection handling, lead qualification, and demo booking. Reinforce CHAMP qualification methodology and discovery standards while identifying individual and team-wide development opportunities. Performance Improvement: Share successful calls, effective messaging, and proven sales practices across the team. Partner with the SDR Manager to develop targeted coaching plans when performance gaps arise. CRM and Process Excellence: Serve as the first point of contact for questions related to Salesforce opportunity and activity management, CHAMP note quality, Groove cadence execution, lead management, and established inbound and outbound sales workflows. Process Consistency: Identify recurring workflow issues and communicate trends and improvement opportunities to the SDR Manager, ensuring established processes remain consistent and any changes are handled by the appropriate leadership. Day-to-Day Team Leadership: Provide accessible support throughout the SDR workday by answering questions, troubleshooting prospecting challenges, reinforcing priorities, and helping representatives overcome obstacles quickly. Sales Activity and Accountability: Support outbound Power Hours and dedicated calling blocks, encourage consistent execution, recognize strong performance, celebrate team wins, and help maintain engagement and accountability. New-Hire Onboarding and Enablement: Partner with the Enablement team and SDR Manager to support new-hire ramp-up through systems and process training, Salesforce workflow guidance, call shadowing, CHAMP certification, cold-call certification, and competitor or battle-card training. Continuous Team Development: Reinforce onboarding standards and established sales practices, provide additional support during the ramp period, and help SDRs build the confidence and skills needed to perform independently. Requirements: At least 3 years of experience in a quota-carrying sales or business development role, with a strong understanding of prospecting, qualification, and pipeline generation. Demonstrated interest in coaching, mentoring, and helping sales professionals improve their performance. A results-oriented mindset, with curiosity, adaptability, and a willingness to learn and apply feedback. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain sales processes clearly, deliver constructive feedback, and build effective working relationships. Comfort working in a fast-paced, metrics-driven environment where consistent activity, accountability, and measurable outcomes are essential. Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to respond to day-to-day questions, manage competing priorities, and identify recurring operational challenges. Familiarity with outbound sales tools and platforms such as Gong, 6sense, and Salesforce is an advantage. An interest in construction technology, software-as-a-service (SaaS), or technology-enabled business solutions is a plus. Ability to work remotely within the United States and collaborate effectively with a distributed sales organization. Benefits: Base salary: Estimated annual salary range of $81,900–$100,100 USD, depending on location, skills, qualifications, and experience. Variable compensation: Potential additional variable bonus ranging from $35,100–$42,900 USD, subject to the applicable compensation plan. Estimated total compensation: Base salary plus the stated potential variable bonus represents an indicative annual range of $117,000–$143,000 USD. Remote flexibility: Fully remote position within the United States. Professional growth: Opportunities to develop leadership, coaching, and sales enablement skills while supporting a growing sales development organization. Collaborative environment: Work closely with sales leadership, enablement professionals, and SDRs across North American and global markets. Technology-driven impact: Contribute to a digital construction platform designed to improve coordination, visibility, and productivity for teams working in the field and office.
