Salesforce Business Analyst

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Salesforce Business Analyst based in Canada. As a Salesforce Business Analyst, you will connect business needs with practical Salesforce solutions that improve processes and user experiences. You will analyze workflows, gather requirements, and translate business objectives into clear Salesforce configurations and functional specifications. The role offers broad exposure to cross-functional teams, including business stakeholders and technology professionals. You will play a key part in documentation, testing, training, adoption, and ongoing platform optimization. Your work will directly contribute to greater operational efficiency, automation, and effective use of Salesforce capabilities. This is a fully remote, permanent opportunity for an experienced professional who can work independently while collaborating effectively across teams.

Gather, document, and analyze business requirements, challenges, and process needs to define effective Salesforce solutions. Translate business requirements into Salesforce concepts, including objects, fields, workflows, automation, and other platform capabilities. Develop clear functional documentation, including Business Requirements Documents (BRDs), functional requirements, user stories, process flows, and related materials. Coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT), develop UAT documentation and manuals, and support issue resolution through implementation. Deliver user training and provide post-deployment support to encourage adoption and effective use of Salesforce solutions. Collaborate with business units, IT teams, and other stakeholders to ensure Salesforce solutions align with organizational objectives. Identify opportunities for process optimization, automation, and continuous improvement across Salesforce workflows. Requirements: Proven professional experience as a Salesforce Business Analyst or in a closely related business analysis role. Strong understanding of Salesforce platform capabilities, particularly Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, CRM functionality, or related modules. Demonstrated expertise in requirements gathering, business and functional documentation, BRD/FRD development, and process mapping. Experience coordinating UAT, supporting user training, and contributing to change management and adoption initiatives. Ability to translate technical Salesforce concepts into clear, practical information for non-technical stakeholders. Strong communication, analytical, documentation, stakeholder-management, and problem-solving skills. Salesforce certifications such as Salesforce Administrator or Salesforce Business Analyst are an advantage. Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies is preferred. Knowledge of Salesforce Lightning, Flow Builder, CPQ, or related Salesforce capabilities is a plus. Approximately 7 years of relevant professional experience is expected.
