Delegate analytical and technical assignments to actuarial and professional staff, providing guidance, reviewing outputs, and ensuring the accuracy, quality, and consistency of project work. Coordinate project planning and execution, including data collection, progress updates, identification of resource requirements, and preparation of client communications for review by senior consultants. Review actuarial analyses and research findings, contribute to product development initiatives, and identify opportunities to improve methodologies, tools, and consulting solutions. Mentor, train, and develop professional staff by sharing technical knowledge, providing constructive feedback, and supporting their ongoing professional development. Communicate analytical results and technical concepts clearly to clients and internal stakeholders, helping identify business challenges and formulate practical, data-driven solutions. Manage project timelines, deliverables, and competing priorities while maintaining compliance with established quality standards and procedures. Continue progressing toward the Fellow of the Society of Actuaries (FSA) designation through ongoing actuarial examinations and professional development. Requirements: Bachelor's or master's degree in a quantitative discipline, such as actuarial science, mathematics, statistics, economics, or a related field. Associate of the Society of Actuaries (ASA) designation. At least 10 years of full-time actuarial experience, with a strong understanding of actuarial methodologies, healthcare financing, and insurance concepts. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and the ability to apply actuarial principles to complex datasets, financial analyses, and client-specific business problems. Experience with SAS, VBA, or other programming and analytical languages is an advantage. Demonstrated experience managing projects, coordinating technical work, reviewing analytical deliverables, and guiding the contributions of professional staff. Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain complex actuarial findings and recommendations to technical and nontechnical audiences. Excellent analytical and critical-thinking abilities, with sound judgment in evaluating assumptions, validating results, identifying potential issues, and developing appropriate solutions. Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to plan project activities, allocate resources, manage competing deadlines, and maintain high-quality standards. Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively, maintain a client-focused approach, and deliver results in a dynamic consulting environment. A proactive mindset, adaptability, and a strong commitment to continued learning, professional development, and advancement toward the FSA designation.
