Full job description

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Business Development Representative (BDR) based in the United States. This is an exciting opportunity for a results-driven sales professional to help accelerate growth within a fast-paced B2B SaaS environment. As a Senior Business Development Representative, you will engage prospective customers, qualify leads, and create high-quality sales opportunities for Account Executives. You will manage a diverse pipeline spanning inbound marketing leads, outbound prospects, recycled leads, and re-engagement opportunities. The role emphasizes experimentation, strategic outreach, and the practical use of AI tools to improve prospect research and sales efficiency. You will collaborate closely with marketing and sales colleagues while continuously refining your approach to pipeline generation. This remote-first position offers a clear path toward an Account Executive role for high performers.

Engage and qualify leads: Respond to inbound leads, particularly Marketing Qualified Leads (MQLs), and assess prospect needs, readiness, and alignment with the solutions offered. Manage and develop pipeline: Build and maintain a healthy pipeline through outbound prospecting, recycled leads, re-engagement campaigns, and opportunities involving former customers who have moved to prospective accounts. Execute strategic outreach: Use calls, emails, LinkedIn, and other prospecting channels to establish contact, nurture interest, and generate qualified sales conversations. Leverage AI and sales technology: Experiment with AI-powered tools to research accounts, personalize messaging, improve outreach quality, and increase prospecting efficiency. Meet performance targets: Complete approximately 50–60 daily outreach activities, generate 14 qualified sales opportunities per month, and initiate contact with inbound leads within five minutes. Build strong relationships: Establish rapport with prospective customers, listen actively, understand their challenges, and create a positive early sales experience. Collaborate across teams: Work closely with marketing, sales, and Account Executives to improve lead conversion, share insights, and support consistent pipeline development. Continuously improve: Test new outreach strategies, incorporate feedback, analyze results, and refine processes to improve performance and effectiveness. Requirements Demonstrated success meeting or exceeding sales development quotas as a Business Development Representative, Sales Development Representative, or in a comparable role. Previous experience in B2B SaaS, enterprise software, or a similar business-to-business sales environment is preferred. Comfortable experimenting with AI tools and new technologies to improve prospect research, outreach personalization, and productivity. Familiarity with sales prospecting and customer relationship management platforms such as LinkedIn Sales Navigator, HubSpot, and Outreach, or the ability to learn them quickly. Strong communication and active listening skills, with the ability to build rapport with a wide range of prospects. Excellent organizational and time-management skills, including the ability to prioritize leads and manage a high volume of daily activities. A proactive, self-motivated mindset, with a strong sense of ownership and a consistent focus on achieving results. Willingness to experiment, learn from mistakes, respond constructively to coaching, and adapt strategies based on new information. Collaborative approach, professional integrity, patience, and a commitment to delivering on promises to colleagues and customers. Curiosity and enthusiasm for learning new concepts, testing different approaches, and taking on fresh challenges. A structured, process-oriented working style that supports consistent execution and repeatable results. Interest in long-term sales career development, with the ambition to progress toward an Account Executive position. Benefits Compensation: Base salary starting at $70,000, depending on experience, plus commission. Health coverage: Medical, dental, and vision insurance options to support employees and their families. Retirement savings: 401(k) plan with company matching. Time off: Unlimited paid time off and holidays to support work-life balance. Remote flexibility: Fully remote work environment, with occasional optional opportunities for in-person collaboration, training, quarterly business reviews, or customer visits. Home office support: A monthly home office payment to help support a productive remote workspace. Professional development: Access to learning resources, training, workshops, and conferences. Career progression: A potential pathway to an Account Executive role within approximately 18–24 months for high-performing team members. Collaborative culture: Team-building activities, company events, and an inclusive environment that values diversity, continuous improvement, and shared success. Equal opportunity: All qualified applicants receive consideration without discrimination based on protected characteristics under applicable law.
