Full job description

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior CI/CD Engineer based in the United States. We are seeking a Senior CI/CD Engineer to strengthen and secure enterprise DevOps infrastructure, ensuring reliable software delivery and business continuity. In this role, you will manage critical tools across the development lifecycle, including Jenkins, Bitbucket, and JFrog Artifactory, while designing resilient disaster recovery and failover solutions. You will establish governance standards for software repositories, open-source packages, and dependencies to enhance security and maintain compliance. Working at the intersection of CI/CD, DevSecOps, and platform engineering, you will contribute to infrastructure modernization and future tooling migrations. You will also leverage AI-powered tools to improve productivity, elevate engineering quality, and encourage innovation across the team. This opportunity is ideal for a technically skilled professional who enjoys solving complex problems, sharing knowledge, and delivering reliable solutions in a collaborative, client-focused environment.

As a Senior CI/CD Engineer, you will maintain and improve enterprise DevOps tooling, strengthen software supply chain security, and ensure development infrastructure remains resilient and well-documented. You will collaborate with technical teams and stakeholders to establish effective engineering standards, support modernization initiatives, and continuously improve workflows. Design, implement, and test multi-site disaster recovery and failover solutions for enterprise DevOps tools to ensure the recoverability of critical development infrastructure. Administer and support Jenkins environments, including controllers, agents, and pipelines, to maintain reliable build and deployment operations. Manage Bitbucket repositories, configurations, access practices, and repository administration. Configure and maintain JFrog Artifactory, including local and remote repositories, artifact storage, and package management. Establish governance controls for external software repositories and open-source library ingestion, ensuring packages and dependencies meet appropriate security requirements. Evaluate existing open-source packages and dependencies to determine governance needs and support the implementation of JFrog Curation following a successful proof of concept. Define, document, and maintain repository and artifact management standards, including controls for external software packages and libraries. Implement and maintain software package and dependency security controls using relevant DevSecOps tools and practices. Produce comprehensive technical documentation covering DevOps toolchain configurations, disaster recovery procedures, repository governance, and security controls. Support future platform migration initiatives involving Bitbucket, Jenkins, GitHub, and GitHub Actions by documenting existing systems, configurations, and processes. Use AI-powered tools, including Claude, to streamline daily tasks, improve the quality of deliverables, and identify opportunities to integrate AI into engineering workflows. Share AI adoption practices and technical knowledge with teammates, encouraging continuous experimentation and improvement. Contribute to project execution and delivery while aligning technical solutions with client objectives and long-term business needs. Support colleagues through mentoring, coaching, presentations, and knowledge sharing. Requirements: The ideal candidate combines hands-on experience with CI/CD infrastructure and DevOps tooling with a consultative mindset, strong problem-solving skills, and a commitment to continuous improvement. You should be comfortable working directly with clients, adapting to changing priorities, and using emerging technologies to improve engineering outcomes. Practical experience with enterprise CI/CD and DevOps platforms, particularly Jenkins, Bitbucket, and JFrog Artifactory. Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, build and deployment processes, repository administration, and artifact management. Understanding of multi-site disaster recovery, failover design, and infrastructure recoverability. Familiarity with open-source software governance, dependency management, package security, and DevSecOps practices. Experience documenting technical architectures, operational procedures, security controls, and platform configurations. Understanding of Git-based development workflows and platform migration considerations involving GitHub and GitHub Actions. Full understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC). A consultative approach to problem-solving, with the ability to align technical solutions with client objectives and long-term business goals. Experience overseeing projects, coordinating technical execution, and delivering agreed-upon outcomes. Hands-on experience using AI tools to improve daily work, or a strong willingness to experiment, learn, and champion AI adoption. Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills. Ability to lead, mentor, coach, and motivate colleagues while contributing positively to team performance. Flexibility to adapt to evolving priorities in a high-growth organization. Intellectual curiosity, creativity, and a commitment to continuous learning and professional development. Ability to work collaboratively and consistently prioritize client expectations and delivery quality. Preferred Qualifications: Claude Certified Developer or Claude Certified Architect certification; candidates may also have the opportunity to pursue certification after joining. Experience promoting AI adoption, sharing best practices, and helping teams integrate emerging technologies into their workflows. Experience with GitHub and GitHub Actions in the context of DevOps platform modernization or migration initiatives. Benefits: Competitive salary. Remote or hybrid work options. Comprehensive benefits package. Matching 401(k) retirement plan. Substantial paid time off (PTO). Tuition reimbursement. Ongoing training, mentorship, and industry certification opportunities. Hands-on exposure to modern technologies and projects across multiple industries. Recognition programs and employee awards, including an AI Innovators Program. Collaborative and inclusive working environment with opportunities to mentor others and contribute to technical innovation. Potential opportunity to obtain Claude certification as part of professional development.
