Amazon's security organization is looking for a Senior Executive Assistant who can operate with discretion and move quickly in a high-urgency environment. You will serve as a trusted partner to senior leaders, handling sensitive information with care while managing complex scheduling, driving operational efficiency, and anticipating what the team needs before they ask. This role calls for sharp judgment, a calm presence under pressure, and the ability to act on incomplete information. Key job responsibilities

  • Manage complex executive calendars with precision, reprioritizing on the fly as urgent needs emerge and ensuring leaders are prepared for every commitment.
  • Coordinate domestic and international travel, organize events and offsites, and handle logistics end to end while maintaining confidentiality throughout.
  • Track key deliverables on behalf of leadership, follow up on open items, and keep projects moving forward across the organization.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline cross-team processes and procedures, using tools such as Microsoft Suite, ticketing systems, and generative AI to improve efficiency.
  • Prepare, collect, and curate content for leaders in partnership with stakeholders, and draft or edit written communications on their behalf.

A day in the life You will start your morning reviewing your leaders' schedules, resolving conflicts, and preparing for upcoming meetings. From there, you may shift to coordinating urgent requests or preparing travel itineraries all while exercising discretion with sensitive information. You will regularly partner with other Executive Assistants and security team stakeholders to keep operations running smoothly.

Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years of senior level leadership support, or 3+ years of Amazon experience
  • High school or equivalent diploma
  • Experience with Microsoft Office products and applications
  • Extensive experience with complex domestic and international travel coordination

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience leading process improvements
  • Experience in a fast-paced, high-tech company
  • Experience designing processes to maximize efficiency

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location. Amazon also offers comprehensive benefits including health insurance (medical, dental, vision, prescription, Basic Life & AD&D insurance and option for Supplemental life plans, EAP, Mental Health Support, Medical Advice Line, Flexible Spending Accounts, Adoption and Surrogacy Reimbursement coverage), 401(k) matching, paid time off, and parental leave.
