With a strong focus on AI-powered operations, you will integrate intelligent tools and automation into deal reviews, quoting, and commercial analysis. Lead and scale the Global Deal Desk function, serving as the primary escalation point for complex deal structures, pricing exceptions, non-standard contractual terms, and approval requirements across all sales segments and geographies. Design, implement, and continuously improve deal approval workflows, pricing guardrails, discounting policies, and escalation frameworks that accelerate sales execution while minimizing financial, contractual, and revenue-related risks. Own CPQ strategy, configuration, and governance in partnership with GTM Systems, ensuring that product catalogs, pricing rules, quoting processes, and approval hierarchies remain accurate, consistent, and scalable. Develop and operationalize processes for consumption-based and usage-based pricing models, including usage commitments, ramp structures, drawdown mechanics, commitment tiers, and true-up provisions throughout the quoting and contracting lifecycle. Partner with GTM Operations and Sales leadership to establish commercial frameworks for international markets, addressing regional pricing strategies, local currencies, tax requirements, legal entities, and other considerations across EMEA, APJ, and additional expansion markets. Act as the central cross-functional partner for Sales, Finance, Legal, and GTM Operations, translating commercial objectives into executable agreements that balance customer needs, business priorities, compliance, and operational feasibility. Collaborate with Finance to evaluate revenue recognition implications associated with non-standard deal terms, multi-element arrangements, and usage-based pricing structures, ensuring appropriate escalation, documentation, and audit trails. Build and maintain comprehensive Deal Desk playbooks, templates, policies, and self-service resources that empower sales teams to navigate common commercial scenarios and reduce unnecessary escalations. Integrate and optimize AI-powered tools across Deal Desk operations, including contract review, quote generation, deal structuring, commercial analysis, and automation of repetitive tasks. Own Deal Desk reporting and analytics, monitoring deal velocity, approval turnaround times, exception rates, discount trends, and non-standard contract terms to identify opportunities for improvement and provide actionable insights to senior leadership. Recruit, develop, and manage Deal Desk professionals as the business grows, establishing clear team structures, operating standards, and scalable practices for a globally distributed organization. Requirements At least 7 years of experience in Deal Desk, GTM Operations, Sales Operations, or a related commercial operations function, with direct responsibility for deal structuring, pricing decisions, and approval workflows. Demonstrated expertise in consumption-based, usage-based, or hybrid pricing models, including the design and operational management of ramp structures, usage commitments, commitment tiers, true-up mechanisms, and associated revenue recognition considerations. Hands-on experience administering and improving a CPQ platform, such as Nue, DealHub, Conga, or an equivalent solution, including product catalog management, pricing rule configuration, approval workflow design, and cross-functional governance. Proven experience structuring and approving commercial agreements across international markets, with a working understanding of regional pricing, local currencies, legal entity contracting, tax considerations, and VAT/GST requirements. Practical, hands-on experience integrating AI tools into commercial operations, using solutions such as ChatGPT, Gemini, Notion AI, contract intelligence platforms, or specialized GTM tools to accelerate deal reviews, generate quotes, analyze commercial data, and automate repeatable workflows. Strong knowledge of SaaS commercial agreements and pricing structures, including multi-year contracts, ramp deals, enterprise license agreements (ELAs), co-termination, consumption commitments, and the implications of deal structures for revenue recognition under ASC 606. Required experience with Salesforce, including the ability to work effectively with sales processes, commercial data, and related operational workflows. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify patterns in deal data, assess risks associated with non-standard terms, evaluate commercial trade-offs, and communicate findings to senior stakeholders. Strong cross-functional leadership and relationship-building skills, with the ability to establish credibility across Sales, Finance, Legal, and GTM Operations while aligning competing priorities and negotiating practical solutions. Demonstrated ability to build scalable policies, processes, governance frameworks, and operational playbooks rather than relying solely on case-by-case problem-solving. Strong organizational skills and sound commercial judgment, with the ability to manage competing priorities, improve operational efficiency, and support sales execution in a dynamic, globally distributed environment. Experience hiring, mentoring, and developing Deal Desk or commercial operations professionals is a strong advantage. Benefits Competitive compensation: Annual compensation ranges vary by geographic market: Tier 1: $224,000–$285,000. Tier 2: $201,600–$255,000. Tier 3: $179,200–$230,000. Equity opportunities: Compensation packages include equity, providing the opportunity to participate in the company's long-term growth. Remote flexibility: Work remotely from the United States while collaborating with a geographically distributed team. Full-time employment: Take ownership of a global function with a direct impact on commercial strategy, revenue operations, and business scalability. Strategic leadership opportunities: Influence pricing governance, deal execution, international expansion, and the development of scalable commercial infrastructure. AI-driven innovation: Help shape an AI-enabled operating model by implementing intelligent automation and improving the efficiency of commercial workflows. Cross-functional collaboration: Work closely with senior stakeholders across Sales, Finance, Legal, and GTM Operations to solve complex commercial challenges. Team development: Build and grow a global Deal Desk function while establishing operational standards and developing talent. Inclusive workplace: A commitment to equal employment opportunities, diversity, accessibility, and reasonable accommodations for individuals with disabilities.
