Full job description
This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Producer (Gameplay) based in United States. As a Senior Producer, you will serve as a key operational leader across the full game development lifecycle, from early concept and pre-production through launch and live operations. You will work closely with creative directors and discipline leads to turn creative vision into clear roadmaps, milestones, and delivery plans. The role spans design, engineering, art, audio, and narrative, ensuring teams remain aligned and productive. You will proactively manage risks, dependencies, scope, and timelines while protecting the quality of the player experience. Using production metrics and agile practices, you will improve workflows, capacity planning, and delivery predictability. This is an opportunity to help shape ambitious, narrative-driven gaming experiences within a fast-paced and highly collaborative development environment.
Lead full game development lifecycles, including concept, pre-production, production, launch, and live operations, ensuring deliverables meet quality, timeline, and budget expectations. Partner with Directors and Discipline Leads to translate creative direction into actionable roadmaps, sprint objectives, milestones, and measurable delivery goals. Design, implement, and continuously improve production workflows across design, engineering, art, audio, and narrative teams. Identify creative, technical, resource, and timeline bottlenecks early, then implement scope prioritization, risk mitigation, and contingency strategies. Serve as a central communication hub between creative and technical teams, facilitate sprint rituals, and provide clear roadmap and delivery updates to leadership. Use production metrics such as velocity, burndown, and capacity planning to optimize workflows, balance workloads, and support informed decision-making. Foster a transparent and collaborative production culture that supports developer well-being while maintaining accountability for delivery commitments. Coordinate post-launch support, content releases, and live game operations as needed. Requirements: 7+ years of professional game production experience, including at least one shipped title in a Senior, Lead, or Technical Producer capacity covering the full development lifecycle. Proven experience managing dependencies, handoffs, and workflows across engineering, design, art, audio, and narrative disciplines. Expert knowledge of Jira and Confluence, with hands-on experience adapting Agile, Scrum, or Kanban methodologies to studio-specific production environments. Strong judgment in making pragmatic scope and prioritization decisions that protect the core player experience while meeting critical deadlines. Experience supporting post-launch development, content drops, live operations, or ongoing game support cycles. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to bridge creative vision and technical execution across diverse teams and stakeholders. Experience shipping games on PC and major console platforms such as PlayStation, Xbox, or Nintendo is a plus, particularly with first-party submission and certification processes. Experience coordinating co-development studios, external vendors, or outsourcing partners is a plus. Strong technical literacy across game engines, backend dependencies, developer tooling, and production workflows is advantageous. Experience managing content-heavy pipelines or episodic release schedules is also a plus. Benefits: Base salary of $120,000–$152,000 annually for the San Francisco, New York City, Los Angeles, Seattle, Boston, and DC metropolitan areas. Base salary of $105,000–$132,000 annually for the Austin, Denver, Nashville, Atlanta, Chicago, Dallas, and Miami metropolitan areas. Base salary of $89,000–$113,000 annually for all other U.S. locations. Profit-sharing opportunities. Medical, dental, and vision insurance. 401(k) matching. Flexible Spending Account (FSA) and Health Savings Account (HSA) options. Paid time off, sick time, and holidays. Parental leave. Remote work flexibility, with occasional travel to Los Angeles potentially required for interviews or in-person meetings.
