Full job description
This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, which manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Relationship Manager based in the United States. The Senior Relationship Manager will own relationships with a portfolio of Registered Investment Advisor (RIA) partner firms and their financial advisors, driving engagement, referrals, and long-term adoption of estate planning services. This remote role combines relationship management, advisor education, and proactive client journey coordination. You will guide advisors from onboarding through consistent referral activity, ensuring they have the knowledge, tools, and confidence to support their clients effectively. Working closely with attorneys, client success professionals, and firm-level stakeholders, you will help deliver a seamless experience throughout the estate planning process. You will also identify engagement gaps, resolve friction, and strengthen referral workflows to improve outcomes. Operating within an established strategy and playbook, you will contribute directly to the growth and effectiveness of a developing relationship management function.
Advisor Onboarding: Serve as the primary contact for newly registered advisors within assigned partner firms, introducing them to the platform, the three-meeting estate planning process, and their responsibilities as referral partners. Conduct orientation sessions and facilitate introductions between advisors and attorneys before the first client referral. Guide advisors through pre-referral checklists and estate planning needs assessment resources so they can confidently identify and prepare clients. Track onboarding milestones in HubSpot and proactively follow up with advisors who are not progressing toward their first referral. Advisor Activation and Engagement: Manage advisor relationships from the first referral through sustained, habitual usage across the assigned portfolio. Monitor engagement data in HubSpot, identify inactive or disengaged advisors, and implement targeted outreach to re-engage them before activity declines further. Act as an accessible, knowledgeable resource for questions about estate planning, referral procedures, and client situations. Lead structured monthly touchpoints with firm-level contacts and participate in advisor education initiatives, including webinars, roundtables, and firm-level training sessions. Post-Referral Advisor Accountability: Maintain contact with advisors throughout their clients' estate planning journeys to support engagement and successful completion. Identify plans at risk of stalling, alert the relevant advisors, and provide guidance on re-engaging clients. Coordinate handoffs with the Client Success team to ensure consistent communication between advisors and client-facing teams. Recognize and escalate patterns of advisor disengagement before they negatively affect plan completion rates. Share recurring challenges and relationship insights to help improve internal processes and the overall advisor experience. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Communications, or a related field. 2–4 years of experience in relationship management, customer success, financial services, or another client-facing role. Experience or familiarity with wealth management, Registered Investment Advisor (RIA) operations, wealth technology, financial services, or estate planning is a strong advantage. Strong relationship-building and communication skills, with the ability to establish trust and maintain productive partnerships with financial advisors and firm-level stakeholders. A proactive, organized approach to managing a portfolio of relationships, tracking milestones, and following up consistently. Ability to identify engagement risks, address obstacles, and motivate advisors toward sustained referral activity. Comfort using CRM tools such as HubSpot to monitor engagement, document progress, and manage relationship workflows. Ability to collaborate effectively with attorneys, client success teams, and internal stakeholders to coordinate client journeys and improve outcomes. A self-directed, detail-oriented working style suited to a fully remote environment and an established performance framework. Benefits Base salary of $80,000–$100,000 , with the final amount dependent on experience. Performance-based bonus tied to scheduled and completed meetings. Health, dental, and vision benefits. 401(k) retirement plan with employer matching. Flexible paid time off (PTO). Fully remote work arrangement. Opportunity to help build and shape a growing relationship management function during a significant phase of business growth.
