Full job description

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, which manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Sr. Production Control Technician based in the United States. We are looking for a detail-oriented Senior Production Control Technician to coordinate and monitor digital production workflows in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. This fully remote, full-time role is essential to ensuring that files, reports, and related information move accurately and efficiently across production queues and internal teams. You will monitor high-volume workloads, manage time-sensitive service-level agreements, identify workflow issues, and resolve exceptions before they affect delivery timelines. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will help maintain quality standards, communicate urgent blockers, and support continuous process improvement. You will also contribute to developing workflows for new processes and products while adapting to changing priorities and rotating across core team functions. The role requires strong computer skills, excellent time management, and the ability to maintain accuracy under pressure. Candidates must be available to work from 3:00 p.m. to midnight Pacific Time, with training scheduled Monday through Friday.

Monitor multiple digital production queues in real time, ensuring reports, files, and related data move correctly between workflow stages and departments. Identify stalled, aging, misrouted, or incomplete items early to prevent delays and protect downstream delivery commitments. Prioritize and reprioritize thousands of daily reports according to individual deadlines, workload conditions, and delivery risks. Monitor queue health and approaching deadlines throughout each shift to meet strict, hours-based service-level agreements. Investigate workflow exceptions, including failed handoffs, missing inputs, processing errors, and validation failures, and apply approved corrective actions within the scope of the role. Escalate unresolved issues promptly to the appropriate internal teams, documenting the problem, its impact on deadlines, steps already taken, and recommended next actions. Communicate clearly and consistently with colleagues and internal stakeholders about priorities, workload changes, exceptions, and potential service-level risks. Balance competing deadlines by managing time effectively, switching between tasks efficiently, and maintaining accuracy under pressure. Rotate across core production control functions as needed to address backlogs, staffing coverage gaps, and fluctuations in demand. Verify that work products meet established completeness and quality standards before progressing to subsequent workflow stages. Identify recurring exceptions, bottlenecks, and unclear procedures, providing actionable feedback to improve workflow stability, reduce rework, and increase operational efficiency. Support the development and temporary implementation of workflows for new products or processes until responsibility can be transitioned to the appropriate teams. Perform additional duties as assigned to support team and operational objectives. Requirements: Required internal experience: At least two years of experience working in Production Control with the partner organization. High school diploma or equivalent, including a GED. Strong computer proficiency, including fast and accurate keyboard and mouse navigation, managing multiple applications and windows, and handling digital files. Demonstrated ability to prioritize and complete tasks under strict, frequently changing deadlines. Excellent time management, organization, and multitasking skills, with the ability to maintain accuracy while handling high-volume workloads. Clear written communication skills and the ability to coordinate effectively with teammates to resolve workflow issues and manage handoffs. Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment, using online communication and collaboration tools while remaining responsive during scheduled hours. Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, including the capacity to recognize exceptions, assess urgency, and take appropriate action. Adaptability and a willingness to move between responsibilities as operational needs change. A proactive mindset, strong follow-through, accountability, and commitment to delivering accurate work on time. Preferred qualifications: Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, including formulas, filters, sorting, and organizing large datasets. Experience working in a high-volume, deadline-driven environment such as operations, production, logistics, dispatch, scheduling, quality assurance, or support. Associate or bachelor's degree in any field, or relevant coursework or training demonstrating analytical and problem-solving skills. Comfort working with large datasets while maintaining speed and attention to detail. Experience collaborating across teams using messaging, video conferencing, and other digital tools in remote or hybrid environments. Demonstrated adaptability, initiative, sound judgment, results accountability, and the ability to prioritize work effectively. Benefits: Hourly compensation: $18.72–$27.5930, depending on relevant factors such as experience, education, skills, training, and work location. Fully remote, regular full-time employment. Paid time off (PTO). Sick leave. Parental leave. Medical, dental, and vision insurance. 401(k) retirement plan. Health Savings Account (HSA). Life insurance. Employee Assistance Program (EAP). Pet insurance. Opportunities to develop production control expertise, support workflow improvements, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
