Full job description
This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, which manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Staff Product Marketing Manager (PMM – Patient Growth) based in the United States. In this remote role, you will shape how patients discover, evaluate, and engage with mental healthcare through a growing digital healthcare marketplace. You will own product marketing strategies across the patient journey, helping translate customer insights into compelling positioning, differentiated messaging, and impactful go-to-market initiatives. Working closely with Growth, Lifecycle, Product, Research, and Creative teams, you will identify opportunities to improve acquisition, activation, and retention. You will combine qualitative research, funnel analytics, and experimentation to reduce barriers to care and influence meaningful changes in patient behavior. As a senior individual contributor, you will help establish the vision and standards for consumer product marketing while influencing strategic decisions across the organization. This is an opportunity to make a measurable impact on healthcare accessibility while building trusted, patient-centered experiences in a regulated environment.
Own the patient journey: Develop a deep understanding of patients' needs, expectations, motivations, and challenges at every stage, from initial care discovery to provider selection and ongoing engagement. Identify high-impact growth opportunities: Combine customer research, qualitative insights, and quantitative funnel data to uncover opportunities that improve patient acquisition, activation, and retention. Shape patient positioning and messaging: Create clear, differentiated messaging frameworks and launch narratives that communicate the platform's value and give patients compelling reasons to choose it. Improve the patient experience: Reduce friction throughout the care discovery and selection process through effective messaging, thoughtful information sequencing, and experiences that anticipate patient needs. Lead patient go-to-market strategy: Partner with Growth and Lifecycle teams to determine what to launch, which audiences to target, when and where to engage them, and how to communicate the value proposition. Drive experimentation and continuous improvement: Develop evidence-based hypotheses, design and execute experiments, measure outcomes, and use findings to refine marketing strategies and patient experiences. Collaborate cross-functionally: Work closely with Product, Research, Creative, Growth, and Lifecycle stakeholders to translate patient insights into product priorities and coordinated go-to-market initiatives. Influence strategic decisions: Bring strong product marketing judgment and clear recommendations to senior stakeholders, adapting strategies as new evidence and business priorities emerge. Elevate product marketing excellence: Help establish high standards for consumer product marketing through strong strategic thinking, writing, execution, and collaboration. Leverage AI thoughtfully: Incorporate AI tools into research, strategy, and execution workflows where they improve efficiency and effectiveness, while applying sound human judgment. Requirements At least 8 years of experience in product marketing, growth marketing, or a closely related discipline, including substantial consumer-facing work and accountability for business outcomes. Demonstrated ability to develop and execute marketing strategies that measurably influence customer behavior and deliver business results. Strong customer insight capabilities, with the ability to translate qualitative research and quantitative evidence into actionable strategies and clear decisions. Deep understanding of consumer marketing funnels, including acquisition, activation, engagement, and lifecycle marketing. A strong experimentation mindset, with experience developing testable hypotheses, designing experiments, interpreting results, and applying learnings to improve performance. Exceptional strategic writing skills, including experience developing product positioning, messaging frameworks, creative briefs, and compelling go-to-market narratives. Experience working in a regulated or highly constrained consumer category, with an understanding of how to create effective marketing while navigating compliance and other limitations. Strong strategic judgment and comfort with ambiguity, including the ability to identify opportunities independently and shape solutions without waiting for detailed direction. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence senior leaders, articulate clear points of view, and revise recommendations when evidence changes. Experience collaborating across Product, Research, Creative, Growth, and Lifecycle teams to deliver cohesive customer experiences and marketing initiatives. Practical experience using AI tools thoughtfully in professional workflows, with a clear understanding of where human expertise and judgment remain essential. A results-oriented approach, supported by concrete examples of marketing initiatives that improved customer behavior, funnel performance, or business outcomes. Benefits Base salary: Expected annual base salary of $190,400–$238,000, depending on qualifications, experience, geographic location, and other relevant factors. Equity compensation: Opportunity to participate in an equity program and share in the organization's long-term growth. Healthcare coverage: Medical, dental, and vision insurance. Health spending accounts: Access to Health Savings Account (HSA) and Flexible Spending Account (FSA) options. Retirement savings: 401(k) retirement plan. Remote work support: Work-from-home stipend to support a productive remote workspace. Mental health support: Therapy reimbursement and access to an Employee Assistance Program (EAP). Family-building benefits: Carrot Fertility membership and reimbursement. Parental leave: 16 weeks of parental leave for eligible employees. Paid time off: Flexible PTO, 13 paid holidays, and a company holiday break. Professional development: Training and learning opportunities to support continued career growth.
