Full job description
This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Video Editor based in Brazil. This is a performance-focused Video Editor role embedded within a fast-moving Growth team. You’ll transform raw footage, UGC, AI-generated assets, and creative briefs into compelling paid-social content. The primary focus is creating video ads for Meta, with an emphasis on direct response, testing, iteration, and measurable results. You’ll work at high volume, producing multiple creative variations while maintaining strong visual quality and brand consistency. The role combines creative editing instincts with a data-driven approach, using performance insights to continuously refine hooks, pacing, formats, and storytelling. You’ll also be encouraged to integrate emerging AI video and motion tools into your workflow to increase production speed and creative output. It’s an ideal opportunity for an experienced editor who cares as much about what converts as how good the final video looks.
Deliver a consistent weekly volume of edited video advertisements based on briefs from the Creative Strategist, meeting demanding turnaround times without compromising quality or brand consistency. Produce 30–120 second performance-driven video ads and multiple creative variations for testing and iteration across Meta and other paid channels. Apply strong direct-response editing principles, including compelling hooks, pacing, visual storytelling, captions, and platform-specific formats. Incorporate AI video and motion-generation tools such as Sora, Kling, or equivalent solutions into the editing workflow to create assets and accelerate production. Maintain an organized creative pipeline from raw footage ingestion through editing, final export, and asset tagging. Work across UGC, AI-generated content, and higher-production creative, selecting the strongest shots from large libraries of source material. Use performance feedback and creative testing results to refine editing styles, formats, hooks, and concepts. Collaborate closely with Creative Strategists and other Growth team members, responding constructively to feedback and continuously improving creative output. Help build an efficient, scalable content-production process capable of supporting high creative volume and rapid experimentation. Requirements 3+ years of experience editing high-performing video advertisements for DTC brands, either in-house or within an agency environment. A strong portfolio demonstrating paid-social creative and an understanding of what drives conversions and performance. Strong knowledge of Meta advertising formats, direct-response principles, hooks, pacing, creative testing, and platform requirements. Proven ability to translate creative and strategic briefs into compelling edits with minimal back-and-forth. Experience working within high-throughput creative environments where speed, consistency, organization, and deadlines are critical. Strong proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and/or CapCut, with excellent instincts for pacing, visual quality, captions, and formatting. Hands-on experience using AI video or motion-generation tools such as Kling, Sora, or comparable platforms to create assets or streamline production. Excellent shot-selection and visual storytelling skills, particularly when working with large libraries of raw footage and UGC. Strong organizational skills, including the ability to maintain clean files, exports, asset libraries, and production workflows. Collaborative and receptive to feedback, with a data-driven mindset and willingness to test, learn, and iterate without attachment to a particular creative approach. Strong professional English communication skills, both written and spoken. Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, remote-first environment and consistently deliver high-quality work at volume. Benefits Fully remote-first working environment. Full-time contract position. Opportunity to work within a growing, performance-oriented Growth team. Exposure to DTC advertising, paid social, UGC, AI-generated creative, and high-production video. Opportunity to work with emerging AI video and motion tools and incorporate them into professional creative workflows. High level of creative ownership and the opportunity to directly influence performance through testing and iteration. Fast-paced environment offering significant opportunities to develop performance-editing and creative strategy skills. Reasonable adjustments available throughout the recruitment process for candidates who require them.
