Government of the Czech Republic Opportunities

The Czech Government offers these scholarships under its foreign development assistance programme for full-time study at Czech public higher-education institutions. For 2027–2028, Gabon is one of the countries explicitly eligible for English-taught follow-up master’s and doctoral study. The application is completed online and includes compulsory English-language and general academic aptitude tests.

Applicants must be citizens of Gabon and must not be enrolled at a Czech university when submitting the application. The English-language route supports follow-up master’s and doctoral programmes. Czech citizens, EU citizens and other foreign nationals with permanent residence in the Czech Republic are not eligible under this call; applicants must also meet the programme’s academic and document requirements.
