The scholarship provides US$2,000 toward tuition fees plus a six-week summer internship at an IAC member company. The official IAC page lists a 31 August 2026 application deadline. UWI St. Augustine also labels the 2026 scholarship OPEN and directs applicants to submit by email. The official sources do not state a closing clock time, so no machine deadline is invented.

Applicants must be Caribbean nationals and graduate or undergraduate students at one of the three University of the West Indies campuses, be in good academic standing, and major in insurance, risk management or actuarial science or demonstrate an interest in pursuing an insurance-related career. The application requires the scholarship form, current transcript information, a 750–1,000 word essay on motivation and career objectives, and a recommendation letter.
