We are looking for an experienced Tax Manager with a strong background in UAE real estate development to manage the company’s tax function and ensure compliance with UAE and international tax requirements.

The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in UAE Corporate Tax and VAT, along with good exposure to International Tax, cross-border transactions, tax structuring, and tax planning.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the company’s UAE tax compliance and reporting requirements.
• Oversee UAE Corporate Tax calculations, filings, and compliance.
• Manage VAT compliance, returns, assessments, and related matters.
• Advise on tax implications of real estate acquisitions, developments, investments, disposals, and transactions.
• Provide support on international tax matters and cross-border transactions.
• Assist with tax planning and development of tax-efficient structures.
• Monitor changes in UAE and international tax legislation and assess their impact on the business.
• Coordinate with external tax consultants, auditors, legal advisors, and relevant authorities.
• Manage tax audits, assessments, queries, and correspondence with tax authorities.
• Identify tax risks and ensure appropriate controls and documentation are maintained.
• Provide tax advice and reports to senior management.
• Ensure compliance across multiple entities, projects, and investments.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of tax experience in the UAE.
• Mandatory experience in UAE real estate development, real estate investment, or a closely related real estate environment.
• Strong practical knowledge of UAE Corporate Tax and VAT.
• Good exposure to International Tax and cross-border transactions.
• Experience with tax planning, structuring, and tax risk management.
• Strong understanding of UAE tax regulations and compliance requirements.
• Experience dealing with external tax advisors, auditors, and/or tax authorities.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• CA, ACCA, CPA, CTA, or equivalent professional qualification is preferred.
