Chevening is the UK Government's international scholarship programme. The current Guatemala competition is open for 2027–2028 study and funds an eligible one-year taught master's course in the United Kingdom. Standard support includes tuition fees, approved economy travel, a monthly living stipend, visa costs, arrival and departure allowances, a travel top-up and applicable tuberculosis-test support.
Eligibility requirements
Applicants must meet Chevening's current country, return-home, education, work-experience and course-choice requirements. Current rules require at least 2,800 hours of post-undergraduate work experience and an undergraduate degree completed at least two years before the application deadline, plus applications to three eligible UK courses and the required unconditional-offer timeline.
