Full job description

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, which manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a React Native and React.js Developer based in Brazil. We are seeking a developer with expertise in React Native and React.js to create two introductory training courses focused on mobile and front-end development. In this role, you will transform technical knowledge into structured, practical, and engaging learning experiences for aspiring developers. You will design comprehensive course materials, develop hands-on exercises, and deliver the first cohort of each course. You will also refine lessons based on delivery experience and ensure that learners have access to clear documentation and practical coding challenges. This opportunity combines software development expertise with technical education, content creation, and instructional delivery. You will contribute to accessible, well-organized learning resources that help students build practical skills and confidence with modern JavaScript technologies.

Course Content Development: Create 40 hours of introductory training content for each course: React Native for Android and iOS mobile application development, and front-end development with React.js. Practical Exercise Design: Develop 10 additional hands-on exercises for each lesson, supplementing the exercises completed during laboratory sessions. Course Delivery: Teach the first cohort of each course, presenting technical concepts clearly and guiding learners through practical activities. Course Material Updates: Review and refine lessons, presentations, and course handbooks based on delivery experience and identified improvement opportunities. Technical Documentation: Create course handbooks in Markdown and manage version control, documentation updates, and progress tracking through GitLab. Structured Learning Resources: Organize course materials to include an introduction, explanatory content, images and diagrams, optional tips, chapter summaries, and a final project or project developed progressively throughout the course. Learning Environment Documentation: Document the required course infrastructure, environment setup, and relevant technical information needed for practical activities. Assessment Development: Create five conceptual or review quiz questions and 10 contextualized practical lab questions for each major lesson unit. Technical Blog Content: Write two blog posts related to the courses or their subject matter to support knowledge sharing and learner engagement. Course Launch Preparation: Prepare a descriptive course summary highlighting the content and learning outcomes for launch and promotion. Lab.Code Challenge Creation: Develop contextualized coding questions, provide written solutions, and record video walkthroughs demonstrating the solution in a terminal or application. Requirements: React Native Development: Practical knowledge of React Native and mobile application development for Android and iOS. React.js Development: Solid understanding of React.js and front-end development concepts. Technical Teaching and Content Creation: Ability to explain technical concepts clearly and organize them into introductory learning materials suitable for students. Practical Exercise Design: Ability to create coding exercises, quizzes, laboratory challenges, and projects that reinforce learning through hands-on practice. Technical Writing: Strong writing skills and the ability to produce clear, structured documentation in Markdown. Version Control: Familiarity with GitLab for managing course materials, tracking changes, and collaborating on documentation. Course Facilitation: Ability to deliver training sessions, guide learners through technical exercises, and refine content based on classroom experience. Documentation and Assessment: Ability to develop chapter summaries, conceptual quizzes, contextualized lab questions, and written technical solutions. Video Demonstration Skills: Ability to record clear technical walkthroughs showing code execution and application behavior. Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication, attention to detail, and the ability to make technical material accessible to beginners. Benefits: Remote Work: Remote delivery, with Brazil as the target location. Contract Engagement: Contract-based opportunity focused on developing and delivering introductory technical courses. Portfolio Development: Opportunity to create structured educational content, practical coding challenges, technical articles, and video demonstrations. Knowledge Sharing: Opportunity to teach and support learners developing skills in React Native, React.js, and modern application development.
