<p><strong>Purpose of Position</strong></p> <p>As the leader of the Global Tax team (3 direct reports) at Awin, you support Awin entities regarding corporate income taxes, VAT, sales tax, wage tax, transfer pricing, withholding taxes, digital services taxes, tax compliance and all other tax issues.</p> <p>Although you will be applying your acquired German tax experience by overseeing tax matters for our German parent company Awin AG, you will make sure that all other Awin entities across Europe, as well as other jurisdictions are properly supported by your team and external advisors.</p> <p>If you enjoy leading a virtual team, working with different cultures and meeting people from around the world, this position may be the right opportunity for you.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Key Tasks</strong></p> <ul> <li>Lead a team of 3 tax professionals located in different locations, fostering a constructive and positive team culture.</li> <li>Further develop Awin group’s tax strategy by also minimizing potential financial risks.</li> <li>Further implement and govern the TCMS in Awin group.</li> <li>Ensure tax compliance by timely filing of tax returns (CIT, VAT, EU Sales list, OSS, DST, Sales tax) and preparation of necessary documentation.</li> <li>Manage relationships with external advisors and local tax authorities including management of tax audits.</li> <li>Prepare estimated quarterly and extension calculations, and tax payments.</li> <li>Participate in the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements (IFRS) for current/deferred taxes.</li> <li>Work cross-functionally with other departments and Awin Group companies regarding identified and ongoing tax issues.</li> <li>Collaborate on initiatives to drive business growth, leveraging your specialist skills.</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Skills &amp;
