MEDICAL IMAGING TECHNOLOGIST - INVERCARGILLLive in Invercargill - where affordable living, wide-open spaces, and a relaxed, welcoming lifestyle come together.Permanent, full-time roles- 1.0 FTE (40 hours per week)A supportive team, fast-paced environment with lots of interesting cases!Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora is firmly grounded in the principles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi and is committed to building a health system that serves all New Zealanders.About the RoleJoin Southland Hospital's growing Radiology team and work across a full range of modalities including CT, MRI, Ultrasound, Nuclear Medicine, Fluoroscopy, and General X-ray.You'll be involved in varied work across emergency, trauma, theatre, ICU, paediatrics, and outpatient services, with opportunities for training and development across multiple specialties.You will operate imaging equipment safely and efficiently, produce high quality diagnostic images, ensure patient comfort throughout procedures, and maintain a clean, safe environment. You will work closely with Radiologists, clinicians and wider healthcare teams, ensuring accurate imaging is provided in a timely manner to support patient diagnosis and treatment.Our medical imaging team is experienced, supportive, and genuinely enjoy working together. About the Team/Service/LocationSouthland Hospital is a modern, purpose-built facility with fully digital radiology services and predominantly Philips equipment.
