Full job description
This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Sales & Growth Manager – B2B SaaS / Outbound Sales based in India. This is a hands-on sales and growth role focused primarily on outbound prospecting, lead qualification, customer follow-up, and pipeline development. You will take ownership of the top of the sales funnel across a large database of prospective customers and execute an established, proven sales playbook. The role combines structured B2B SaaS sales execution with a smaller marketing component covering social media, newsletters, and campaign content. You will work directly with the founder, giving you visibility across sales, customers, product, marketing, and broader business operations. Success will depend on disciplined follow-up, accurate CRM management, measurable funnel performance, and the ability to communicate technical products in simple, useful language. This is a fully remote opportunity for an experienced salesperson who enjoys structured outbound work, measurable targets, and meaningful ownership.
Own the top of the sales funnel for a defined segment of approximately 2,000 prospective customers, ensuring consistent prospecting, qualification, follow-up, and pipeline progression. Execute outbound campaigns through email, LinkedIn, follow-up calls, and campaign platforms, following an established sales playbook and maintaining consistent activity levels. Manage outreach campaigns across approximately 10–16 target regions, personalizing communication where appropriate while preserving campaign consistency and messaging quality. Follow up systematically with prospects and ensure every qualified lead has a clear next action, accurate status, and appropriate follow-up date. Qualify prospects and convert relevant cold contacts into booked and attended virtual sales meetings. Brief and hand over qualified opportunities to colleagues responsible for closing, providing clear context and relevant prospect information. Handle first-line customer enquiries and route technical, product, or industry-specific questions to the appropriate team members. Maintain accurate CRM records, including prospect details, interactions, pipeline stages, follow-up dates, meeting notes, and lead status. Monitor funnel performance and prepare clear weekly sales reporting covering contacts approached, responses, qualified leads, meetings booked and attended, follow-ups due, and overall pipeline status. Identify opportunities to improve outbound performance through disciplined execution, accurate reporting, and incremental process improvements rather than unnecessary changes to the core sales strategy. Create and publish approximately one Instagram post and one LinkedIn post per week as part of the marketing component of the role. Develop simple visual content using Canva, Photoshop, or comparable tools, and prepare and distribute regular customer newsletters. Create practical, seasonal, and educational content that provides value to prospective customers while maintaining consistent positioning and messaging across campaigns and channels. Learn enough about the product, data, sensors, weather analytics, and relevant agricultural operations to communicate the value proposition clearly and credibly to prospective customers. Requirements: 5+ years of overall sales experience, including at least 3 years of direct experience selling B2B SaaS, software subscriptions, or other recurring-revenue products. Proven hands-on experience with cold outbound prospecting and a track record of personally converting cold contacts into qualified, booked sales meetings. Ability to demonstrate previous outbound performance using measurable metrics such as contacts approached, response rates, meetings booked, and meeting conversion rates. Strong experience actively managing a CRM and maintaining accurate pipeline information, follow-up schedules, lead stages, activity records, and data quality. Strong written English, with the ability to create concise, professional, and engaging outbound communications for busy prospects. Strong Excel or spreadsheet skills and comfort working with sales activity data, funnel metrics, reporting, and performance tracking. Demonstrated discipline and attention to detail, with a consistent approach to follow-ups, CRM hygiene, meeting documentation, and pipeline management. Strong communication skills and the ability to explain technical products and concepts using simple, clear language without relying on unnecessary jargon or sales clichés. Curiosity and willingness to learn about sensors, weather data, agriculture, horticulture, vineyard operations, and data-driven farming practices. Strong ownership and accountability, with the ability to work directly with leadership, discuss measurable results openly, and take responsibility for sales performance. Process-oriented mindset and willingness to execute an established sales playbook consistently rather than constantly redesigning the strategy. Ability to work independently and effectively from home while maintaining reliable communication, activity levels, reporting, and accountability. Willingness to commit to the role for at least one year and build long-term knowledge of the product, market, customers, and sales process. Experience with Zoho CRM, Zoho Campaigns, or Zoho One is an advantage. Previous experience in AgTech, agriculture, horticulture, viticulture, or selling technology to farmers, growers, SMEs, or owner-operated businesses is a plus. An engineering background or MBA/business qualification is advantageous, as is experience working with European customers. Experience with Canva, Photoshop, or similar content-creation tools is beneficial. Benefits: Fixed salary of ₹70,000–₹90,000 per month, depending on relevant experience. Performance-linked variable compensation providing additional earning potential based on results. Fully remote, work-from-home position with no daily commute or regular office attendance. Occasional in-person visits to the Noida office, approximately once every quarter or six months. Opportunity to work with a proven sales playbook rather than building an outbound strategy from scratch. Direct access to the founder and exposure to sales, customers, product, marketing, and the development of a cross-border business. Significant ownership of the top-of-funnel sales process, with activity, pipeline performance, and results directly visible. Opportunity to work with a mission-driven technology product focused on helping growers use data more effectively and supporting practical regenerative agriculture. Small, flat-team environment with direct communication and fast decision-making. Opportunity to develop deeper expertise in B2B SaaS sales, outbound prospecting, CRM management, customer engagement, and international business development.
