We are seeking a skilled and motivated Senior Mobile Developer to build high-quality, cross-platform mobile applications using Flutter and Dart. In this role, you will take ownership of developing intuitive user interfaces, implementing business logic, and integrating backend APIs to deliver seamless mobile experiences. You will collaborate closely with designers and backend engineers to transform product requirements into reliable, responsive, and secure applications. You will also contribute to application architecture, automated testing, debugging, and performance optimization throughout the mobile development lifecycle. Candidates with a strong background in native iOS, Android, or other cross-platform technologies are encouraged to apply, even if their Flutter experience is still developing. Cross-Platform Mobile Development: Design, develop, and maintain high-quality mobile applications using Flutter and Dart, ensuring consistent functionality and performance across supported platforms. User Interface Development: Translate design assets and specifications into responsive, accessible, and user-friendly interfaces that deliver an intuitive mobile experience. Business Logic Implementation: Develop reusable, testable, and efficient code to implement application requirements and ensure reliable business logic. API Integration: Integrate backend APIs and multiple data sources, collaborating with backend engineers to ensure efficient communication, data handling, and application responsiveness. Application Architecture: Apply appropriate mobile development patterns, including the BLoC pattern, to build maintainable, scalable, and well-structured applications. Performance and Reliability: Design and optimize applications for low latency, high availability, responsiveness, and efficient resource utilization. Security and Data Protection: Implement appropriate security measures, protect sensitive information, and follow relevant accessibility and security compliance practices. Data Storage and Third-Party Integrations: Integrate local and remote data storage solutions, third-party libraries, and external APIs to extend application functionality. Testing and Quality Assurance: Write and maintain unit tests for business logic, perform debugging, identify defects, and support automated testing to ensure application quality. Application Lifecycle Management: Contribute to the full mobile development lifecycle, including development, testing, builds, releases, maintenance, and continuous improvement. Version Control and Agile Collaboration: Use Git and established development workflows to manage code changes, participate in Agile processes, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Continuous Learning: Stay informed about emerging mobile technologies, development frameworks, and industry best practices while adapting to evolving product requirements. Requirements Mobile Development Experience: Strong professional experience in native or cross-platform mobile application development using technologies such as Swift for iOS, Java for Android, React Native, or Flutter. Flutter and Dart: Working knowledge of Flutter and Dart, with the ability and motivation to deepen expertise in cross-platform development. Extensive Flutter experience is not essential if you have a solid foundation in another mobile development framework. Published Applications: Experience building at least two Android and/or iOS applications with Flutter that have been published on an app store. Mobile Architecture: Understanding of mobile application architecture, design patterns, state management, and the principles required to develop scalable and maintainable applications. Familiarity with the BLoC pattern is important. API and Data Integration: Experience integrating REST APIs, third-party libraries, databases, and multiple data sources into mobile applications. Testing and Debugging: Strong understanding of unit testing, automated testing, debugging techniques, and the full mobile application development lifecycle. Performance Optimization: Ability to identify performance bottlenecks and improve application responsiveness, reliability, and resource efficiency. Security and Accessibility: Understanding of mobile application security, data protection, and accessibility standards. Version Control: Proficiency with Git and familiarity with collaborative software development workflows. Agile Methodologies: Experience working in an Agile development environment and collaborating with designers, backend engineers, and other stakeholders. Technical Adaptability: Familiarity with the broader mobile development ecosystem, emerging technologies, and industry trends, together with a willingness to learn quickly in a fast-paced environment. Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to explain technical concepts and collaborate effectively with team members.
